planet yoga also has many other classes (that is why i extended my contract, variety and the schedule are quite impressive, classes all the time). There is no post-natal, but they have yoga therapy, also quite slow, then kroyoga therapy, then krogoya...etc so you have different level of difficulties. they have combat yoga, I've never done them, but sounds like aerobic (with speed) so I think you can loose weight if you persist with it. I think 6 to 8 weeks post delivery, depending if you had natural or c-section, and how active you were and how much energy you have with the new baby. It took me almost 6 months to get back to normal life routine!

Do they provide post-natal yoga? Did you do Yoga to lose weight after delivering your 1st baby? Can yoga help to lose weight? When can we start doing yoga after baby delivery?

I had been doing yoga at Planet yoga,they have prenatal class as well, 1.5 hour. My plan is about 450 / month, my contract is a bit longer 2.5 year with 6 months free, so it works out to be 300+. I joined them when I had my first baby in April 2007, I think their classes are OK!

Pure Yoga cost HK$688 per month......unlimited for pre-natal (but only 5 classes for CWB centre)

MK Living Yoga 得星期六下午3:00 ~ 4:00一堂，時間一直都無變過，$300幾一個月。contract方面既flexibility聼落同Pure差唔多。有D媽媽生完都會番來做prenatal 或其他yoga.

Yes, basiccally the schedule is more or less fix. You can go to Pure Yoga webpage to look.
For me, I join the causeway one. They have fixed class on Monday night 6:15 or 6:30 (I can't remember) and class during lunch time 1:00 on Wed. I usually join the Sunday class on 12:00pm.

3 months contract will be more expensive. Will you consider to join 6 months? You can on-hold or pend the contract for months during baby delivery and "sit Moon' period. Then you can resume the yoga afterward.

They don't have any post-natal class now but I will do some basic yoga after "sit moon' as hope to give me a better shape.

Prenatal Yoga is very helpful and safe. No need to worry as long as you follow the instructor's advice. I'd been doing yoga for over two years before I got pregnant. After some consultation, they let me join the prenatal at once, so basically I didn't stop my yoga practise. Therefore there shouldn't be restriction from which month you should start practising yoga, but if you are new to yoga and don't feel ready for exercise yet, starting after 3 months is what they always recommended. I'm at my 5th month now and I've been practising prenatal yoga, some Yin yoga, and meditation. Meditation is very good for pregnant ladies too. By the way, I go to Living Yoga in MK.

I tried the lesson and I found that it is quite good.
I am considering to sign contract.
However, they claim they have post-natal yoga but when I checked the schedule, I found they don't have any schedule open for post-natual yoga...

Just checked with Pure Yoga, there is another way of joining the pre-natel course by buying the ticket.
Each ticket = one course which cost HK$250
If you buy 10 tickets, they will offer you a discount.

The beauty is that if you sign the monthly contract, only if you attend 4 classes, otherwise, it does not worth it.

我 join 咗 pure yoga 都有2年幾, 其實佢地 D yoga class 好好, 好多選擇, 而且大部份 tutor 都好好, 所以完咗 contract 都 renew.

我個plan係$495/month Langham 個 center 任玩, pre-natal class 就可以去邊間 center上都 ok, 不過就要簽2年約.
