Hi I just moved in toronto from HK! Everything is very new to me and I have no friend here! I'm with a little boy 2yrs old, would like to make more friends here:) and bring along the kids have some activities together:)

Hi All,

I am planning to move my family back with 2 sons age 4 and 7 in summer 2018, living in Markham/Richmond Hill area with my parents home. Can you all give some advice on how to maintain their Chinese level and education? This is my main concern

買樓花就一定比現樓平,但要小心選擇,一定要睇邊個發展商和一定有risk.

Planning to move back in five years when my girl will be at age of 12 (finish primary school)
We are coming back to Tor by this July, want to buy an apartment (樓花), I hope that price would not be too high

hihi, my family migrated to Toronto last summer. Glad to know that a lot of mamas moving from HK. We are living in Markham. I have 4 boys and busy life here.

I just simply opened a CIBC account in HK. You can apply a credit card with them in advance along. They also have pre-approval loan service for home mortgage.

BMO and CIBC have office in Central HK. They're available to open Canada bank account in HK for immigrants. Check their website or contact them for more details.

Hi ihcneeled, We are moving back at the same time as you except we are going to Toronto instead. I’ve already opened a Canadian account for money transfer. For the shipment, I Will sent them over thro post office since I have no furnitures and no other big belongings, so I m not gonna bother to find any shipping company.

Sorry for late reply, I am actually not familiar with bbkingdom. Now, our plan is changed, moving to Vancouver instead, thinking Jun/ Jul. you still going to Toronto? I totally have no idea what I need to prepare... like bank account, money transfer, moving of items... can you share?
