Kaleb is 13 months. Eczema started around 3 months old regardless the fact that I breastfed him til 6 months. Anyways, we did a blood test with him and turned out that he was positively allergic to certain foods, however, daily products (cow milk protein) has the highest rank. That's why we exclude all daily products in his diet. Many people said that the blood test is not accurate for child under 2 years old but if the result of a certain food turns out positively then that is for sure the allergen. We're now gradually introducing some cheese, bread and baby biscuits see if any sign of eczema appears (figure crossed). PM me if you would like to chat on the phone about Kaleb's case. Wish your LO be always healthy and eczema free. Good luck

Kaleb was like you all described until we seek the dermatologist and changed his milk. When the eczema started, you must use the cortisone prescribed until it is fully recovered. If you stop in the middle of the session, rashes will easily come back then in return you are putting more cortisone to your LO's skin. According to the doc, cortisone only stays in the body for less then a minute so it is not as harmful as many people think. Changing LO milk to elemental based formula ONLY works on baby who has milk protein allergy so if your LO eczema was triggered by some other allergens then switching to Neocate won't do you much good. Besides the taste of neocate is a real disgust and the price is crazy high too. However, Kaleb does have milk protein allergy and none of other formula (goat, soy and hypoallergic) work on him except for Neocate. Gosh that was a long story, anyways, the contact of neocate distributor is Ms. Lo, tel.81033329. Good luck
