Hi again, how many of you like or enjoy living in UK so far? We have been living in Singapore for quite long time and I wish we could move to somewhere else because I hate the heat here and am getting bored! Can't do much outdoor activities with kid under the sun everyday

We plan to move back to UK when our kid is growing bigger for the education there

I love to bring my son to UK again because Singapore is too hot & bored! I also have my own brother & his family living in Birmingham so I like to see them as well. Just wonder if I can enrol my son to any short programme for him to play & learn!

Hi,

Long time no talk. Oh, you will visit UK again this summer. 係喎, 呢度通常主要有兩種籍貫的中國人, 一種係客家人, 一種係鴨州人, 唔知你呢度的親戚是什麼籍貫的人呢? I heard there are over 1xx swine flu cases in UK, but so far I think people are not so worrying about it here. Actually my husband wants to visit other country in summer, but I rejected it. I'm a bit worrying about to get on a plane with different nationality people, but you don't know who has swine flu or not . Ha! Maybe I'm thinking too much.....!!!!!

Oh, I understand weather in Singapore is really hot. Here in Newcastle, the temperature is around 2x'C yesterday. I will not send my kid to any summer programme, so I'm sorry that I can't give you any advise this time. BTW, we have joined a theme park and hotel package in summer. Hope my girl can have fun during her summer holiday.

ｏ架，不過只得ｍａｎｇｏ夜晚係冇點心食．係呀，　我地仲有幫襯過一間國語人開的酒樓，係　Ｌｉｆｅ　Ｓｃｉｅｎｃｅ　ｃｅｎｔｒｅ　對面叫金鳳（Golden　Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘ），係主要食四川菜等，味道都ｏｋａｙ的，　佢ｄ食客，多數係國語人．　我地以前都有食印度野，　但冇係　Ｔｈｅ　ｇａｔｅ果間食過，　你話好食，　等下次老公生日去試ｏ下先（佢鍾意食印度野，以前我初到英國，　佢試過同我係Ｂｒａｆｏｒｄ食印度餐），係喎．．間印度餐廳叫咩名呀？　Ｔｈｅ　ｇａｔｅ　間　Ｎando's 幾好食，係　Ｔｈｅ　ｇａｔｅ，我地仲有去過ＴＧＩ　Ｆｒｉｄａｙｓ，Ｗｏｋｍａｎｉａ（ｂｕｆｆｅｔ），Ｆｒａｎｋｉｅ　ａｎｄ　ｂｅｎｎｙ同埋　Ｐｉｚｚａ　ｈｕｔ．　以前試過果度間　Ｆｒａｎｋｉｅ　ａｎｄ　Ｂｅｎｎｙ唔係好好食，ＴＧＩ Fridays 都okay 好, 果間near Metro centre 的 TGI Fridays 唔係好掂, d扒又"lone"又硬, 而Wokmania係比唔點講究飲食既人,但可以食到飽. 日本餐廳就去過hanahana都okay, 但未去過fujiyama. 其實我都冇咩好餐廳值得介紹, 因為好似差不多咁, 至於我地去metrocentre,就多數去Weatherspoon, KFC, Chiquito(Mexican restaurant)及Pizzahut,不過依家swine flu, 我唔敢去Chiquito啦! 我地有時多數會去 pub食lunch or dinner. 其實, 我係黎到呢度先學人整壽司咋, 所以唔係好叻, 阿哥又冇教過我, 我記得佢好耐以前試過係加拿大brought咗條三文魚返黎, 之後就即日係Sogo買埋d材料及用具, 即場係屋企做sushi,可惜比其他親戚包圍住, 我食得果一兩舊, 之後叫佢做一盒比我第二日拿返公司做 lunch, 佢話唔得, 又話隔咁耐時間d sushi會唔好食, 跟住比錢我同同事去食, 我當時好唔開心,但依家自己整sushi, 隔咗一晚夜之後, 真係好鬼難食. 好似係隻手落少少sushi醋, 隻手冇咁黐飯. 其實, 我都好懶整sushi,又要各樣用具, 又要等d飯涷咗先包得, 好煩咁.

哈哈....家有貓貓, 見到奶奶都冇有怕啦. 咁你養到佢地再肥d再可愛d喇, 話時話...養貓既食糧唔知會唔會貴過養個 bb呢? 哈哈.

冇記錯, 你好似未有車牌, 如是, 我覺得你依家趁有時間, 去學車都好, 將來好有用, 唔駛好似我咁, 想學車又照顧兩個細既, 又好難同老公就時間, 如果我有牌, 依家就可以送阿囡返學放學, 有時都幾倦, 現在夏天還可以, 冬天就慘喇! 同埋你好似話想找工作, 有車牌, 第日返工都方便d. 我好後悔當初冇學好車, 依家我架車係出面就黎發"Mo"都用唔到, 有時送阿囡返學, 望到都眼"yuen." 唉!

In terms of medication, I have calpol, ibuprofen, piriton in my hand carrier and I also brought along a thermometer, just in case but I didn't use it to let him sleep.
My boy was the most terrible one with crying and not wanting to sit still for the first hour of the flight...but luckily he got tired out and slept 6/7 hours on the way to HK after his bottle of milk. The flight was very very full and we didn't get a spare seat for him so poor hubby has to got up and stand for a while from time to time to allowing him to sleep stretching out his legs and arms!
I did packing till the last minute, very rush and I'm now beginning to realise how much I've forgotten to bring!
BTW...I did ask my sis to send me some face masks (for us and also my boy) for use on the plance and I forgot to bring them anyway. Saw quite a bit of chinese ppl using face masks while changing plane in Amsterdam and on the flight to HK. Now that I'm in HK, I can see most ppl working in shops, restaurants/fast food shops using face masks but not many ppl use it while out and about. UK has more cases of swine flu than in HK but UK ppl still seems rather relax about it lor...

Last time, I was also took my 18 months old daughter to HK on my own. I saw a doctor before the trip and asked the doctor to give me a drug for my daughter, so she could sleep well on the plane. As for the swine flu, will you bring masks to use on the plane. Anyway, you must be very busy to do all your things before you fly to HK, so take your time. Have a nice trip!

i'm a bit nervous ga but i try to make myself calm. Otherwise, i can't deal with carlos in the long haul.
i didn't book any studios for the pictures lu 'cos i don't think i will have the time to do it la and the heat will mean i have to be very careful and not to tired out carlos too much...you know when they're tired, not enough rest, it is very easy for them to catch a bug ga mah.
am sure you can go in Sep la...
