我仔生日開生日會，有個同學媽咪whatsapp我，問仔仔鐘意啲乜。我話仔仔鐘意關於科學嘅野, thank you。
佢覆我: no need to mention, will go check out!!
我以為佢嘅意思係唔洗講我知，我自己會去睇

嚇死我，好驚自己講錯野。個心諗，明明係你問我先㗎喎....我又唔敢再覆佢。個心愈諗愈唔安樂，完全訓唔著。不過又覺得唔對路，於是google下呢句英文，原來係解you are welcome 嘅意思

You're welcome is for stronger meaning. "Welcome" can't be used alone for this meaning coz it means 歡迎

Long time no see is informal English, not chinglish!

Don't always care about grammar/formal saying in text messages, native speakers just won't write grammatically complete sentence every time they chat!!! Omitting some words is very common as well

My English is bad, by the way.

The phrase should be "don't mention" or "don't mention it".

But "no need" is English, not Chinglish! If she says "there's no need to thank me/ say thanks", it's completely correct!
