After you fired the maid, they will still steal your things and give it to their friend when you are not at home especially during the office hours. My ex-maid has a friend upstair, she stole my things and store them all in her friend's owner's house. You can't check anything when they are off as they have already send them away.
Sometimes you have to do a sudden check and ask her where you put your things and see whether they can get it out immediately. I've tried this before and she always can't find it but the thing will show up again the day after, that means they have already stolen your thing and give them back to you after you check it.
maybe all 工人 is like this ?? my ex-maid also took things from the rubbish (e.g. empty comestic container..) can gar... And I found she took pens / mini-flash light... that I put in the living room (often found those on her bed ..and usually will be there for over a week)............. it's soo minor that I often don't know whether I should point her out or not... but I afraid if I don't.. she might think it's ok to take any of our stuffs lor (she even took our e-Zone magazine into her room at night..........)
And my current maid... I still haven't discover she took any stuffs from our living room.. but last Sunday, my husband finished a bottle of beer.. and i told her she can throw away the bottle.... However, when I browser around the kitchen at night (she slept already).. I found she used a park'n shop bag to wrap the bottle and place it in a hidden place in the kitchen...........???? what does that mean? I just throw it away to the garbage can at the stairway immediately..................
