My maid takes 2 hrs afternoon nap almost everyday.

When my new born baby was before 3 mths old, BB had to drink night milk 1-2 times, so I allow her to take nap in the afternoon to ensure she has enough sleep. Now she still takes afternoon nap with baby even though bb does not drink night milk.

She spends the whole morning doing cleanup, washing clothes and ironing clothes. She actually finishes her work before 2pm so she has plenty of time to rest.

What can I do to stop her taking so much rest time?

i treat her good, never scold her, but she's not satisfied. today i ask her to wash the car, she just finished. Have invited a few friends+babies to come over this evening so she has to cook more. So definitely she has no time for nap today, hehe.

Anyway, will axe her. My hubby's concern is that she will take revenge on us. Hide outside our bldg and suddenly step out and use a dagger to kill us! my indo maid's EQ is very low so whenever I ask her to do smthn which she doesn't like( actually all the times because she doesn't treat me like her boss), she would show me long face.

my maid goes to bed in between 9-10pm and wakes up at 8.xxam. she has plenty of sleep but takes afternoon nap too. In total I guess she sleeps for 13 hrs per day. I am a housewife but don't take naps, only take 7-8 hrs sleep at night ja. She has very light housework to do, only clean the floor once in 2 days and just wipe the tables. Whenever I ask her to clean the windows/handles, socket areas she wld reply 'clean jor la'.

today i asked her after taking nap pls store your pillows/blanket away immediately. she ignores me again. then sighed ('ai').

no mercy to axe her. if anyone has a good maid who is available instantly, pls PM me. thanks!

佢試過响我面前閤眼訓，（我當睇唔到）
俾我見到佢擘大口，
眼矇矇鐘鐘下。
平時佢訓11pm-至7.30am，
我唔洗佢煮午餐（除sat一日）
平時我同佢一齊煮夜晚果餐（一星期三至四日）
我唔洗佢抹車，
佢做完野就幫我坐响地下睇住亞仔，
有時佢都係坐响度睇住電視，
沖涼暗訓覺我都唔洗佢。

無可能做得辛苦啦，
我估唔夠辛苦無野做佢悶到訓啫。
我地去外地佢就留响屋企，
一年兩三次長假（黎左八個月已經有兩次長假，
每次9日，遲D我地又走佢又有假放）

我個工人27，未婚。

我俾我個賓賓訓晏覺, 原因只有一個, 我見過佢抱住亞B"合"眼訓, 差D將亞B跌落地, 個次幾乎嚇傻我。佢已經超過33歲, 可能年紀大, 所以下次我再請人, 一定會請年青點的。

我無特登比佢訓覺，
但係平時我暗亞仔訓覺時，
除咗一D普通house work，
佢都無乜野做，

my maid has. If I didn't ask her to take a nap, she will but hiding. Recently baby always cried in night time, so I ask her to take a nap. Then she dosen't need to hide. But I hate that she's sleeping with my baby on hand.

有呀, 因為佢夜晚同bb訓, bb半夜cry or 咳佢會起身湊下, 如佢有起身湊bb, 我會叫佢做晒d野可以 nap下. 但佢都冇nap, 只係病時試過訓覺.

之後依家我同新工人聲明, 你要看報紙/書, 吾該你做完野休息時間看, 如果比我見到你開工時間看書/報紙, 你以後就會好多時間慢慢看..........

agree, though we don't ask them to have nap they will do it secretly. my present maid always escape from the camera as she said she needs to clean up our bedroom, clean the floor of the living room and prepare dinner when the baby is sleeping.

my boy will normally nap for 2 hrs, it normally takes her half an hour to clean my bedroom, may be another half an hour to clean the floor of the living room. for dinner she just need to clean the vegetable which from my observation it takes her less than 15 mins.

frankly for me i don't mind she sleeps (close her eyes) provided she sleeps next to my baby's bed. i just not happy sometimes esp when i noted from the camera that my boy kicked the quilt and the maid didn't aware of it as she disappeared.

so i will never offer her a nap, later in this aug when my boy is going to pn, she has more time to hide up, i don't mind and prepared for it as long as she takes good care of my boy when she is with him.

yes i agreed. so regret i asked her to take nap. because my full-time pue yuet took naps everyday too, she just followed too.
