Overall: we have spent 7 full days in Gold Coast, very relaxing. We didn’t book everything in advance so cannot get the cheapest deal but it is very good to allow for flexibility depending on weather and energy level. We have a group of 10 people with 2 seniors, 4 adults and 4 kids (age 4-7)

Weather : mostly sunny, very warm during day time and we put on short sleeves t-shirt. Need a jacket at night time or morning.

Day 1
8am Brisbane airport arrival and pick up car in Budget

Car rental - Budget website booking in advance. 8 seated car for 6 people with two child seat. Quite expensive - AUD 1400~ including full insurance

11am lunch at Charis Seafood Market. Fresh oysters, cooked prawn, crab, fried seafood, grilled fish. Picnic outside the seafood market, with a playground next to us.

1.30pm watched pelican feeding

4pm arrive in Clandulla Cottage (booked through booking.com) for farm day. We booked three rooms so we can occupy whole cottage. Cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, well maintained. Kids can play swing, tennis, ball games, ball pool games in the farm. There are birds and peacocks around us and also our favourite kangaroo Jojo and Wallaby Aussie.

5pm animal feeding - kids favourite activity in the farm to feed birds, chicken, sheep, cow, horse, pig....and count the eggs from the chicken!

Dinner at cottage (pre order with farm owner John), AUD$25 per meal, taste good but not cheap.

Beautiful sky full of stars at night. John also showed us Venus and Jupiter.

Sea world is a must go place, I visit GC with my family every year, so we don’t normally plan for anything, just relax there for three weeks, but we go to sea world every time, my kids loved it.
Currumbin is worth going to, to feed the kangaroos and see that giant alligator.

We joined the tour for 捉泥蟹, 藍光蟲, whale watching, Numinbah horse riding...will go to dream world, still thinking Currumbin and sea world cuz time not enough...We also will go Tangalooma Island after 5 days in GC...How’s your plan?

I will be staying in pepper soul from 5/8-26/8, three weeks. I used to study in Sydney, have fun in Sydney, must go to Luna Park and the aquarium in Darling Harbour

I will take Qantas at 20:00, we stay at Sydney 5 days first and wait my friend join us, 8/10 take the flight to GC and stay 5 days then go to Brisbane 2 days, come back to Sydney stay 2 more days.

We took three hour cruise. First hour and last hour is to travel to the Pacific Ocean. We saw whales and dolphins on and off during the middle one hour. And we heard whales singing too (emoji)
