我打算係回多倫多(Markham)買屋,請問在多倫多買屋要比什麼稅項呢?
我係回流o左hk的加籍公民,未曾係加拿大買過屋的,我買的目的係出年我的大仔會回去讀書,我會比大概3成首期,七成做按揭,因我在加拿大沒有收入,所以我會找我的親戚擔保我的.
因我要知道政府要收多少稅項及買屋律師費等等,讓我有個預算要匯多少錢回多倫多. 另想知買(睇)屋過程有什麼要注意呢.

Yes, SAHM = Stay-at-home mom. I'm working and so I'm still undecided on public school. Castlemore PS only have alternate days JK and I don't know what to do with the other days when my son is not in school.

Anniese/3kidsmom,

Not to worry. As far as I understand, your home school should take you unless there's no space. It's on a first come first serve basis (to boundary residents). Say, I registered my son to Castlemore JK on Feb 1st - the first day of registration. If you only apply it now (i.e. Feb 25), they may not have a space for you and they may bus your kid to another nearby school.

我朋友曾經同我講過,幾年前她hk一位朋友的仔(讀中學)8月尾才到多倫多(他地址應該係去markville SS)辨入學手續,教完英文及MATH後,officier跟他說markville他讀個班full o左,派o左他去另一間學校,所以我朋友叫我攪入學就要早d,因為呢幾年好多回流仔女返來讀中學,不要8月尾才到,所以我會6月初就過去o勒!

(插班full 唔full真係睇彩數架o勒,始終有人搬來,又有人搬走o既),我估唔係插班(即讀grade1 or grade 9)應該唔會話無位掛,若果真係申請學生多過該學位,會否好似hko甘要'攪珠'派位?

the point is, if u a not w/i, no chance to register. till now, i only heard 1 case like that....stonebridge got 700 students.....may not be that super bad luck !!

i guess the school will priority gave their space to the boundary residence.

so...there is no point to buy a house near the school area, i am targeting Castlemore / Stronbridge too, but if they reject me, it will be so meaningless to spend more money to buy a house in kennedy/16th, coz houses east of markham are more cheap... oh...what should I do... ???

出年我女過去(讀grade 6),到時無位都無計架o勒,唔好派到無雷公o甘遠就得,有校車都無問題o既.

about stonebridge, not all bur oak resident can register as there's a small square at bur oak/ east of kennedy that are not within this school zone (should at up to glenbrook only).....

last yr, a mom moved into stonebridge zone at buroak, but the school refuse the enrolment because of "no space".....then, i just learnt that, under certain circumstance, school may refuse new student and assign them to other closer school!! (heard the above from an interest class teacher)

yes, I know Castlemore is a good PS, but seems it's not within the Kennedy/Buroak boundary? I am not sure, have to search first. I check on the mls website, there is not much listing around that area, really depends on luck.
