Regarding 7, what the teacher wrote on my daughter's book is not like "opposite L". The "l" is slope! However, my daughter always writes it as "opposite L". Check with the teachers!
Regarding the English small letters, I think it's easier for the children to write:
c
c + "small l" = a
c + l = d
c + l = q etc
Some other kindergartens also do the same. For us, it's really a bit strange!
