Agree very much with you! My maid is just same as yours. I also can't depend her to teach my son English. Sometimes i also can't understand what she says. ALso, she always speaks in Cantonese to my son. Ha Ha!
One more point,
Philipines maids are usually more
counting on their rights and benefits,
if you hire a phillipines maid to take care
two babies (one is even a new born),
they may complaint too much work,
not enough sleep, or ask for more
pay

My boy likes her very much. We like her too.But sometimes, I just think is that good to my boy. I want my maid to motivate and talk more English to him when I am not at home. I am worried he has language delay.
