bb在多倫多出世,我同丈夫都不是加拿大藉.我是從香港過來生bb.請問領取出世紙及護照需時多久!因為聽聞需時2個月.但上網看過(加拿大政府網)話會保証15天能夠領取到出世紙!!究竟是不是?因為本人非常心急回港,因本人還有小朋友在港.希望各位好心媽媽能盡快回答我.Thank you so much...& happy new year!!!
It is difficult to answer, cus both my husband and I are Canadian citizen, who lived in Canada. Therefore, I really don't know the time diffience require for non-residence/citizen applied for his/her child's birth cert.
Based on my experience, we applied the birth cert online, and received it in about 2 weeks.
The passport office said it will take 2 weeks to receive my baby's passport, but we get it in about 1 week. However, the passport application does require a birth cert number to prove of citizenship!
