I have confirmed a maid in early Jan but due to some reasons, I do not want to hire her. She is now in HK and ready to come before Chinese New Year. I wish to know:
1. Any mum has experience on settling this matter in the past?
2. The maid worked in HK for 1 year before I confirm her employment. She then stayed in Macau waiting for visa. In this case, does she still need to repay the loan to the employment agent like those overseas ones?
3. Do I need to give her $ for 1-month notice plus air ticket?

If you want to cancel the application, be quick!! If immigration has already issued the visa, she will be "yours" and you will have to formally dismiss her with pay, tickets, etc. Be quick to cancel before theyissue the visa
