I bought "AG Natural Health" Omega 3 pills @ watsons last week since there are promotion... but i didnt start it yet as i want to ask ask my doctor before really take it, i afraid it will have any side effect?! THis one contains EPA 300mg & DHA 200mg per pill, is it ok??
or should i go to mannings to buy the one for pregnancy which most of u mentioned??
also just wonder, WHEN and HOW do you guys take these supplement?
Example such as...
- first thing after wake up in morning with plain water?
- after finished breakfast then take it?
- before going to bed at night time?
did your doctor has any suggestion or recommendation?
and lastly... does constipation come so early, even before the 2nd trimester? ... my doctor suggest temporary stopping Materna as well as Caltrate, and just take plain Frolic Acid with Omega 3 to see if it ease the constipation...
I am taking
(1) Trying the equazen mumomega pregnancy - $200ish for 30 pills, once a day.
(2) Materna, $200ish for 100 pills, once a day
(3) Caltrade with Vitamin-D, got it from US, once a day.
Wanna ask also... anyone take Chinese herbal supplement as well?
We used to take Ganoderma Lucidum (靈芝) and Cordyceps Sinensis (冬蟲夏草) before, to prepare the body for a good pregnancy. But we stopped once we found out the successful pregnancy. Try not to mix chinese with western medicine...
