如題, 我bb日日半夜四點鐘醒, 之後六點又醒就唔訓等食七點鐘餐奶, 跟住成日都唔訓, 要抱住先訓, 激死我啦!

my son doesnt like to drink water too, so I bought him some apple juice (1oz apple juice and 3oz water). He loves to drink it very much. I still haven't started the rice cereal, may start it next week.

my son drinks about 180ml before the 厭奶期, but now average can only intake 110ml, sometimes as little as 60ml!! i started to let him eat rice cereal, but the situation didn't improve at all...... really duno how to let him drink more milk. he doens't like to drink water either.... just like 練仙, dun need to eat!!

我個囡大約2PM醒一次, 6AM到又醒一次, 6AM個轉食完有時都唔肯瞓 , 俾佢激死, 唯有同佢玩吓囉, 7點几再瞓過囉, 而家啲BB真係好難搞.......

Hi Charles123, jux base on my experience, I would not feed him until the time he shld has his next meal no matter how hard he crys! but how much milk does ur son normally drink?? if he normally drinks 100ml in each meal, then some meals drink 80ml is ok. But if normally he drinks 150ml or even more, then 80ml sounds too less...........

wanna ask do you mean even bb only eats like 80ml in the 10-15min, and after one hour or so even if he cries, i still should not give him the milk, but give him until the next meal? if so, meanwhile, he will be crying, so juz try to comfort him?

U know wht my baby could finish 240ml (use 6oz powder for 8oz water as he doesnt drink much water other than that) within 10 mins. actually from day 1, he could finish his milk within 10mins no matter how much we give him, so I think it is jux he get use to it or not. U may try to feed him within 10-15 mins and if there is some milk left, jux throw away and dun try to feed again. Otherwise, u would waste 1-1.5hrs for feeding each meal. The babies are so clever, he would know that if he can't finish within 10 mins, he would be hungry, so he would drink more in next meal. maybe u would think quite cruel, but for long term, it is better for baby as he could absort all the nutrition from the milk.

my bb normal intake per meal is about 5 oz now.... however, feeding is another problem, sigh...... he was able to eat up to 180ml (all breastmilk) by about 3 months old, but starting from 4 months, he was not willing to intake more than 100ml each time (unless he's fall asleep) so we have to wait for another half an hour or an hour to feed him again.

but i will definitely try to follow your schedule and hope he can sleep better since then!

Agree, me too, normally I give him 6oz powder 8oz water, but only give him 5oz breast milk!

Try to talk with him and play slightly with him, coz after 7pm, we (me, my husband, my sister) come back home so many ppl play with him and he can keep awake.

yeah... i did think if it's the problem of scheduling... now my bb's usual schedule is like this:
eat 7am, 11am, 3am, 7am, 12am
he has been on this schedule for almost 2 months, but he has been not able to follow tight for the last 2/3 wks, because he can't finish his bottle at one time (only eat half or 2/3 of his usual volume)..
i'm thinking if need to lengthen the in between hours, say maybe feed him only 4 meals instead of 5, with 5 hours in between in meal... but i duno how to set that schedule...
