I do agree that it is really awful!! We bought it for a birthday occassion and was a real disappointment.
Cakes are very very good in Singapore especially Sweet Secrets, unfortunately, this is a total let down. Definitely not worth trying.
Quite a lot of the chain cake shops in HK are trying very hard to catch up by offering good cakes. Or else, you can try Regal Hotel HK, their Royal Chocolate is quite close to Singapore standard.
I have the same feeling as kian mama. My whole family didnot like it.
I bought 2 cakes, one original and one banana. At first, I dare not say it is no good because it is really costly, but my son, my husband hate the cake very much and asked me where I bought such an AWFUL cake! I regret it much indeed.
