My helper's contract is expired on Aug 21, 2011, but we agree to let her fly to Philippines on Aug 12. As in my case, it is not extension of stay, so I want to know:
How long it takes to get the renewal contract done by immigration? We only have around 4 weeks left in order to collect the new VISA for her before her departure date on Aug 12.
A) Philippines Consulate - OFW $297.50
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Four Pieces of Original Employment Contract with the same numbers/series
2. Photocopy of Helper’s Hong Kong I.D.
3. Photocopy Passport (front page with picture and signature of Worker)
4. Photocopy of current visa (the one that is going to expire/finish)
5. Original OR photocopy of Old Contract (the one that is going to expire/finish)
6. Photocopy of Employer’s Hong Kong I.D. (if not available, can be submitted on the release date)
B) Immigration Dept. - 與同一位僱主續約 (於兩年合約期屆滿後續約) $160
Thank you. So I should still have time.
BTW, for renewal contract, isn't it I don't need to submit copy of income proof, HKID, residential proof if I declare everything unchanged.
