Do anyone have friends recently migrated to Australia under the skills migration scheme?
I have a teacher in the USA and she recently met the Deputy Council of Australia Consulate. He told her that it is nearly impossible to migrate to Australia now and he suggested us to go to Canada instead. I dunno why he said so. But all the migration companies in Hong Kong have stopped applying for skills migrations to Australia for their customers. It seems that there are some issues behind this.
So do anyone of you have updated experience of skills migration to Australia?
I really regret not proceeding when I graduated from university in 2000. It was so much easier back then.
Now I\'m married and my husband doesn\'t want to move to Australia....

Thanks. Also wanna ask RNs,
how long does it take for ANMAC to pass the assessment? it took ages for ...
For my hubby's case, it took 2-3months for ANMAC assessment and he went to Sydney in person for handing in and verifying his documents as they said they didnt recieve any papers from my hubby(my hubby sent those documents through email).
After the assessment, my hubby went to Sydney second time for an interview, then he finally got his RN license a week after.
Thanks. Also wanna ask RNs,
how long does it take for ANMAC to pass the assessment? it took ages for them to approve... and also do not let me send email to ask them questions.
After their assessment, do i get the license directly?
