hi there, am new and will move to singapore soon. i read from local magazines that there are a lot of child care centers for 18mth+ toddlers but seldom see the ads for playgroup which the parents join the class together with the babies. are playgroups common in SG like HK or most of the full-time mom just take care of the bb at home? i'm interested to expose bb more to activities but no need to leave her for half a day in a school. welcome any advice, thanks!!
thanks all.. been looking at areas near river valley. the good playgroups in hk usually have long waiting list, is that the same in sg too? i read from earlier posting that in sg, kindergarten doesn't require interview and just need to register the child on wait list too? looks like everywhere there is a queue!!! (esp the cab stand!)
a lot. Pat's School House has some story telling, phonic time etc. There is also Growing Up Gifted, Kindermusik.... Have you rented a place? May be other mothers have more suggestions if we know where you live.
