I'm planning to register my daughter to St. Lorraine's N class in Palm Springs next year. It's very nice to hear this campus is on a small classroom based, and there are some westerners enrolled in this school, as my husband and I plan to take her back to the U.S. after a few year.

I never mind the rain from the sky, as long as I have the sun in your eyes~

I also have the same feeling as well and so I have requested to change school from YL to loyal palm next September for my daughter (k1). Before I made this decision I went there for school visit in December , I found that there are only 6-7 classrooms and also the size of class is less than YL's, which is about 18.5 students per class. Also they offer AM class for all levels ( while Afternoon class is only available for k3 in YL unless you go for full day course)

Hi Chocmama, you are welcome. Yes, there are 2 class teachers (one Cantonese and one English ) for each class and a Mardarin teacher who gives lesson everyday.You are right, the relationship of teacher and students are quite close and my girl's pre-nursary class teachers still remember her name and she knows the teacher of the class next to her as well!

Hi, Mandycml, there are some kids they are westeners in my girls class and I know there are some mardarin speaking kids and westeners in her grade but in the other class.I don't know the exact number because I am a working mom and cant pick her up everyday.

Thank you, gailsm, for your sharing! 18 students (and I assume with two teachers) would be quite a good class ratio. I like the size and the location of the campus, which is in the town centre, but somehow have a feeling that the teacher-student relationship in the smaller campus in Royal Palms is closer coz the teachers would have less administrative work and could spend more time with kids. It's likely I'll stick with Royal Palms for my daughter's K1 next September.

Hi, My daughter is studying in Royal Palms. Saying the teaching quality and the other aspects that you have mentioned. I went once to the Yuen Long campus and talked to the teachers in Yuen Long. The campas in YL is bigger and the class number is more than in Royal Palms. I also saw the same headmistress in YL and Royal Palms.Saying the teaching quality and the other aspects that you have mentioned, I guess two campaus would be similar if those are managed by the same headmistress. I don't know is the class size will be the same or not. There are only around 18 students in my girl's class and some of them are non-local students so it is good for learning languages.

I wonder if any one of you knows the differences between the Yuen Long campus and Palm Springs campus in terms of quality of teachers, administration and kinds of parents.

English is excellent

but the school fee and other costs are very expensive

. I think it's worthwhile because your kid can have English lesson every day and have one net teacher as the class teacher. Another things i like are their types of homework and school activities.

學費K1,$3036/月+其他...我計過一年預$50k左右. 你search 下後面啲topic有講過的.
至於父母英文程度要問學校先知喇, 不過interview時又不會問父母識不識英文的, 但學校相信父母識英文梗係好啲,可以在家教到比小朋友嘛. 我自己就可以同外籍老師溝通到的.

加洲我未去過，我家近西菁街，所以讀西菁個間。感覺上，西菁街人強馬壯D。。同埋有D 聯合活動，都感覺上係西菁街係主，加洲係副，可能跟校址和附近居民人數有關。

I have a few friends studying there. They all feel good about it. I am gonna send my younger one there later on. & of cos the fee would be high compare other kindi.
