Indeed, there're many different class code for economy class, which offer different prices. Whether they cheated you, depending if they intentionally told you something that was not true. Some agents would help customers to reserve seats without paying deposit so to secure the price, then you would not be cheated in that case. Go for those agents. Don't go to those agents who said you have to come down to secure the seats.
