It is so nice to know there are many Hong Kong mums are living in Beijing now.
I am from Hong Kong with Canadian citizenship and I have a 6 yrs old boy and going to have a baby girl in next Feb 2013, My husband is a Beijing man and after I delivery my girl in Feb 2013, I am planning to bring my boy and girl in the next July.
I wonder can any Hong Kong mums share they experiences in area of Primary schools in Beijing, such as bilingual school, international school or any other primary school is good for Hong Kong kids (my boy speak English for most of the time, he is attending English school in HK). The school location, fees, and other.
Will it be possible to bring my Filipino helper to Beijing or are there any good stay overnight helper in Beijing, how much will be the salary per month.
Also, are there any gathering event which I can join once I arrive in Beijing?

Thanks Mizuho mama, I will get the maid from local agency so they will manage the visa. I learnt that they will get the maid first from Philippines and ask the interested employers to conduct face to face interview and decide if they will hire her. I have checked the experience local ar yi may cost you 3600-4000 rmb and I believe the price will increase...so after you comment, I think I will make up my mind to get a Philippino maid. Thanks again.
Sorry, I haven't get on here for a while and just found your response. Unfortunately, she is no longer available. But you may be able to find some help from this agency, heard is relatively better (non-profit agency). I haven't use them myself but may consider them if I have to look for ayi again. Good luck!
