And also depends how long u want to use it, I could image with Gold until 30, 40,50yrs old, even more. But if u only want to get into trend, then pick some popular colors. However, it's just a bag,enjoy it.
Have you seen these 2 colors in real life? It depends what colors of your usual outfit. Gold is a warm color & Cassis is a cold color. If your outfit is colorful, Cassis can make a nice contrast. If you always wear black or dark colors, Gold will stand out better. Hope my humble opinion helps.
i read the post too, i think just the color deviation, coz u may see that the first pic's lighting is not enouh, but when i see the second pic,which is close up pic, the color is much easier to confirm.
it seems look likes golden brown instead of brown.
if i were u, i will ask the seller to send more pics to u for reference, just like others jm said, color preference is very depends on ur own view. if the price is reasonable and the color is acceptable, then just go ahead, i wont bother by other to make any decision, becoz 千金難買心頭好，moreover ,golden brownis easy to match all season clothing.
lastly, for my point of view, the color is not bad.
From the post, I think it's Gold, the signature color at Hermes. It's an easy matching color. But color preference is very personal. You may want to try find the same color at the reseller shop & see if you like it :)
