五日沙巴自由行返黎啦! STAR Hotel review [複製鏈接]

上星期去完沙巴返黎,以下小小心得同各mommy分享:

-搭港龍,早璣11 am 到, 8 pm 走, 玩足五日。住兩日STAR, 兩日Le Meridian. 去過Kiulu Rafting, Manukan,
, Sabah Museum, Mari Mari 文化村, 食過旺旺,富源,華興,Little Italy.

STAR Hotel: ******六星級享受

- 11 點半check in, book Kinabalu Seaview, 因為overbook 無房俾我地, 所以upgraded 上7th Top club floor Kinabalu 無敵海景 ( 見圖 ) 800 sq ft suite, 中間有slide door分開, 阿仔有自己張sofabed 及自成一角,

超級的意外驚喜 !!

-Tanjung Aru 是舊翼,得四層高, 房大D,貴D,但大都被 D 密密palm tree 擋晒Ｄ景, 唔值。

-STAR breakfast & lunch buffet ( 65 RM for adult, kids eat free ) is good but dinner buffet Adult @ RM110 , 就有Ｄ失望,香港好多酒店buffet 好食過佢.

-係CHI Spa 做 50% promotion, 2 hours for RM400 inclusive, 不要錯過 !

-地下GYM 旁邊有幾間房俾下午机走的住客可以沖涼,仲有免費Sauna, Steam and swirl bath tub 任揀, free towel, coffee,, juice and cookie and seating area, 一流服務。

-自已出島,連來回的士及入島費,兩大一小RM150 包晒.

Last day, 晚机 8PM ,遇上一個講廣東話的士司机,book 佢朝10 晚6, 去以下地方,連小費都唔駛RM 200, 很老實,藉得推介.

-Le Meridien 去Sabah Museum ( 有全鯨魚骨, 獵頭族武器, Sabah 動物標本,Sabah 歷史,Malaysian土著部屋,好值得參觀.)

-Sabah Museum back to hotel check out, put all luggage in taxi.
-Lunch at 旺旺 -清真寺- 跟住去看 2PM Mari Mari 文化村表演-去Little Italy買外賣-最後去Airport.

Entrance fee: RM 15.

Mari Mari is a tourist village which introduce the old Sabah tribal cultural and living style to the tourists.

The tour takes about 2.5 hours. You get to see five different tribe houses and demonstrations of the local every-day activities and customs which I think it is fun for the kids: We tried malaysian tribal trampoline, cooked food in a bamboo stick, got a henna-like tattoo, we also tried a blowgun used by the headhunter tribe. The show ends with a bamboo tribal dance performance and a simple buffet snacks/meal with fried noodle, chicken etc.

The entrance fee is RM 70 if you go there on your own. It is quite far out from the city centre, it almost takes 40-45 minute one way from downtown KK.

If you join the local tour, it is about RM 140 per person, transport is included but it does not include the tip to the tour guide. Certain local tour agencies will probably provide you Chinese translation of the Mari Mari tour guide as he only speaks English. There are 3 cultural shows in a day - 0900hrs / 1400hrs / 1800 hours. I will not recommended the 1800 hours one as there will be a lot of mosquitoes as the village is located in a forest.

My 6 years old totally enjoyed & loved the experience, but I will not recommended it to families with younger kids as stroller is not an option there !! and bewared there are many tall bamboo ladders to climb as you visit the tribal houses which are built high up from the ground.

I am so happy the information helps. Hope you have a great time ! It is so much easier to get around in Sabah with your own driver and taxi, save you a lot of time to call & wait for the taxi.

完來在酒店call taxi十分方使，回程如果是遊客点门口已大把車。我又試過在市中心是旦走入一間小酒店call車，都好方面。

隆美及旺旺都係同一區,我只去過旺旺,吃過七星斑魚旦麵,好好味, RM 50 for 3 persons. Well worth the trip.

I am now at Star, Is 旺旺 a fish ball noodle shop? Has anyone been to 隆美餐廳 for 東星魚片魚旦麵、白倉魚片魚旦河? The taxi price for going to 隆美 is rm 60 one way, so I wanna hire a driver. Furthermore, anyone been to souvenir shop for cocoa products, chocolate? Which shop you recommend and it's address?
