Thank you for your prompt reply. I will wait patiently for the full 24 hours charging cycle and see what happens then. Right now I have been charging for 12 hours now and the batt signal is still here, which freaks me out because I recall it only took around six hours or so when I first charged the battery for the batt signal to go away (and the first cycle of charging 24 hours was ok).

It is normal! Once you remove the battery, you need to recharge it for 24 hours continuously, then the words \" batt\" will disappear. You can read the manual of freestyle. So, don\'t remove the battery from the freestyle.

Can u tell me if charging over eight hours really work? I took out the battery before and now when I charge it it keep flashing batt. I have now continually charged for almost eight hours by now and the batt sign is still here and so I am still charging. I had charged for 24hours the first time when i first bought it and it was fine. But after I took out the battery and put it back in again things became strange. Can anyone share their their experience?
