You better start 4 times a day before going to work so as to let your body adjust. If you want to keep your milk volume after pumping one time less, you better pump longer each time. For me, my milk volume keep increasing even I pump 5 times a day, but after changing to 4 times daily, it keeps around 45 oz daily. If you pump 5 times daily and the milk volume is stable not increasing. The only way to maintain the volume is to pump longer each time. I pump 30 mins each time. From the experience of my first kid, cutting 1 time will result in the overall amount dropped by 1 pumped amount. Say I am planning to cut 1 time from 4 to 3 times, what I expect is my total amount will drop to around 33 oz daily. 3 times is the minimum as 2 times daily will result a significant drop which is only for 收奶用!

Your pumping time is so fit! I will go back to work next week and my baby is 2 months old now. I want to use your pattern, just afraid my milk will get less. Now, I pump 5 times a day, around every 4 hours, except midnight, around 30oz, any tips you can share?
Just adjust your pumping time gradually and your breast won't get too painful after that. I am planning to reduce to 3 time after my son starts taking solid food.
I also a full pump mum, I pump 4 times daily from my BB 3 mths onwards. 7:00am, 1:00 (lunch), 7:00pm (back home) & 12:00am. It works very well for me. I got nearly 45oz milk daily for this schedule.
