CX suddenly cancelled my mid-night flight on 17/11..
They gave me another flight on 18/11 morning that mean i totally lost HALF DAY OF MY TRIP.........................!!!
I have gone to Japan to see the fall foliage three times. Twice I had Kyoto among the places visited. I think the color was the best in late November . Well, this year is forecast to be colder. So the color change may come earlier.
For the above one, for Osaka (Osaka-jo area), the red leave can be seen from 20/11. But experiences tell me that it can be a few days earlier or later.
I personally went to Japan twice during the autumn, both in Kyoto. One in early Dec and the other in mid-Nov. I could see beautiful red leaves in both occasions.
Yes, Japan in autumn is beautiful. You may consider to have a one-day trip to Nara/Kyoto.
