I'm guessing that we are introducing the same video to our babies "baby signing time" right?
My girl also picked up: please, thank you, kiss, more, milk, dog, cat, fish, bye bye etc...
Hi there. My daughter doesn't have any brother or sister. She is my first child. Since she was 2 months old, I've been talking to her, for whatever things that I am going to take action, e.g. when changing diapers, I will say, "legs up, open, close, legs down". When she knows how to use the fingers for pointing, I tell her the names of the objects for each of the items she pointed to. It's quite a tiring job and require almost 100% attention on her when she is awake.
There are areas she is not very good at though, e.g. stacking up blocks or cups, she doesn't concentrate much in this area. But she likes emptying everything, and put them all in there again. And excel well in everything tiny.
I am not going to push her for whatever she doesn't like, but try to introduce the blocks / cups to her and hope that she will learn from it sooner or later
