I tried one in AMS. I was pleased with it. I just search it online and then ask my friend to give some comment for the location.
Well, it is different from hotel as no people would help you cleaning the room. But you would feel more "home" after a day of long journey. The one I went would provide some basic breakfast and it was quite lovely.
You can try to search "B&B" with the countries you are going to and then there would be many choices!
Normally the people in -charge would reply you quickly in a friendly manner! :)
