If u no experience, can only start with sme in commercial bank, lower pay than retail bank rm and also very harsh. I will suggest you go large bank to start your first step, as you will know if u are capable to survive in this field immediately in large bank.

RM=揹sales quota 要考多個牌sell呢样果样,產品多到記唔切
OT=no pay till 8-9pm.

Don\'t know yet, just completed a phone interview and the hr keep asking my expected salary but I really have no clue.

So many ppl say RM is harsh and stressful, what about commercial RM? Any chance to join if I hv zero background in commercial field?

Since the pay was too low, I changed to bank after one year of marketing and have been working until now ....pay and living standard are much better, but the road is uneasy . And very sad that I never enjoy my job after change to bank....but its very difficult to go back or change field as you already get used to the high pay. So...please think clearly before you change field.

They always change. The purpose is to increase ur target but try to lower the bonus. I can only say the stress and working hour is very very large and long for HSBC premier rm nowadays. But if you can endure it, pay is still generous and some people target for private bank rm or management post. If you target for private bank rm, you must go to large branch like tst, central etc to accumulate biggest client. However, even private bank rm are not easy to do now. If you only look for money, can try HSBC and work very hard in any branch.
