妳咩時間做PART TIME? 我係返夜晚,依家逢2-5,晚晚11點先返到屋企,唉....,不過,無計!

I will start in Aug. Need to spend two mornings working outside and other time can work at home. I got one kid only and he is going to p.6, so I would be free all the mornings. And I have part time helper to do the cleaning twice a week. So I mainly do the cooking, pick up from school and drive him to extra curricular activities. Imagine/wish it will enjoyable as I'd been working full time (long hours) for 15 years, not sure if I will 適應.

Your new arrangement sounds good!

我就8月份休息一個月，9月份繼續part-time teaching in U. 呢段part-time日子過得好開心呀，我可以如願多左好多時間係屋企。我仔今次考試成績好好呀，同埋我覺得佢好乖。

我有這樣的打算但得不到C6的support. 我每天返工都好掛著個小朋友，好想多些時間陪他，但C6反而覺得我過份緊張個小朋友，返工仲好D，好痛苦。

我呢個半職生活都過左3個月，係忙左架，同埋亞仔黎緊9月先返k1，佢有時都會叫我唔好返工陪佢....但無辦法...唔夠洗用都要努力做...

Thank you Candice. Good to hear that you are enjoying your life! Wish you can continue such a good balances life! Yes I think the kids will be benefites with mammies spending more time with them! My son also got great improvement in his report card this term and I think he's even happier than before. I think we can not go back to the previous life where I work ft and hire ft helper!

你都好enjoy做part-time mom wor. 未來係咪仲會係其他大學教part-time ar? 你而家既part-time job忙唔忙呀？你講得岩喎，冇謂再轉番FT job la, 但我都仲要請個FT maid幫手。你summer邊個睇阿仔呢？個PT helper係咪每日做幾粒鐘？

Hi Candice,

I am so far so good la. In fact, not yet started my 'new' part time life. Yes, I will start teaching in another U in August. Now preparing the lecture notes. Meantime, am discussing with a friend about my consultancy job for his company. Starting from August, I would probably need to work in 'offices' for 2 mornings per week, and need to work at home and do meetings with clients on demand. But I will manage to work in the mornings when my son is at school. Then I have to take care of him, bring him a after school activities almost everyday!

My son is now in mainland China for a one-month football camp ar. Then, we will go to Taiwan for a week in early August, leaving 2 weeks for his sumer holidays as his school resumes in the last week of August.

My pt helper comes twice a week, 4 hours per time. I don't need her to take care of my son la, so 8 hours per week only for cleaning and laundry, should be more than enough. I asked her for 3 hours per time, but she insisted 4 hours as she has to travel from TKO.

How about you? what's your plan for this summer? I know the helper I referred to you is not available now. Sorry for that. So, you are looking for helper now?

I have one bb only, and I'm working part time. As I have a ft maid to do household chores, I don't feel I'm busy at the moment. If I have second bb later, I think I will be busier .

真係好忙! 今日打風個囡唔洗返N1, 頭先要湊住兩兄妹買餸. 而家亞妹訓左先得閒小小. 我份新PT 岩岩返左唔夠1個月, MON亞仔要去健康院及妹妹幼稚園K3小朋友畢業, 毛啦啦又唔洗返學, 攪到又請假, 好驚公司炒我. 8月頭個禮拜兩個小朋友又唔洗返學, 又要請假. 都唔知點算. 唔做PT 又唔得, 因為真係等錢洗. 做半職媽咪都好慘!
