I'll definitely try it after "30 days - return" period. I know there is a multi-lingual version and one with no blinking red eye thingy. Which one to try?
or simply get the 550ex or sigma flash? hehe...now we're talking.

New baby coming - May 9, 2006! :-D
Just borrowed a 70-200mm, it is not easy to use..
Especially when zoom to 200mm (ie 320mm). Really have to stop the breathing when pressing the shutter!
need to 'study' and 'learn' how to use this lens..
some people in the web said the CF speed is not important to the 300D due to its internal buffer.
However, my personal experience in using a ordinary Kingston 512 and a Sandisk Ultra II is Sandisk Ultra II perform better especially in loading the photos for preview. I always use continuing mode in shoting my baby and thus it will take sometimes for the 300D to write the RAWs to the CF before next shooting, and also my personal feeling is the Ultra II did performs better than the Kingston.
My suggestion is if you are not always use continuing mode in shooting, then a ordinary CF will be fine.
ooh sorry, it is actually a cheap cheap USM lens only.. and I got a mistake about the range.. actually is 75-300 (ie 120-480 on 300D)
No plan to use little white, it is too 'big' for me, I am still trying to keep to use one belt bag to carry all DSLR stuff. now this 75-300 just can put into my belt bag!
are you using the 200mm for shooting your kid? Really need so long distance when they grow up? although i got a 100-300mm, i haven't used it many times.
