In HK they will not let you know the amount you need to buy for an offer, also you have no clue when you will get the bag, I do not know how much a b or k in is sold in US but let's assume it is 95k hkd, then you only need to buy 95k hkd scarf, no leather good for the offer and the SA will instantly let you know the color and the size of the bag. Personally I think it is a good deal and efficient and time-saving.
In HK as a new customer, normally you have to spend 200k for your first offer. .. that's what I heard... I heard some spend 1xxk and got offer already but

yes, well I rarely buy from a reseller but I think buying find them is efficient. A shocking pink b30 100% new and real is only 150k, if you want to get it from official shop I wonder if spending 300k on non leather items will be enough. Plus the cost of the bag, the price become 400k already. Not cheap.
I bought from HK official shop before, back when they counted bags and wallet into your spending. To accumulate 2xxk spending is not easy in my opinion. To accumulate the second 2xxk spending is difficult as I got most of the stuffs I wanted when spending the 1st 2xxk.
