According from those emails, have a common point is: the maids went to labour court OR Small Claims Tribunal to sue the employer. Most of the cases are the employers worry it will take long time to proceed OR cannot take so many leave from work. Then they admit their fault and compensate to the maid.
Our labor laws become there excuse and shelter. Maids have there own union in HKG, they try to use different excuse or lies to make the HKG employer to pay them more. Even the employers pay them exactly and follow the laws exactly. But those maids still can sue them even without evidence. My kindness Chief Executive, do you think you can mention those issue in Legislative Council or another venue. Try to protect those innocent employers. Most of them are working couple, they need to work, if not cannot raise up their child. Employ domestic helper is there only choice. No another way out.
Now a day, the labour laws were too many grey areas, so those maids can do what they want OR get more and more interest from employers. Even have one case, the justice asked the employer, "you settle the bill la, and you will lose your time on those procedures. Even you did not own her any money, but please consider your time consumption", finally the employer pay extra and crying in front of the Justice.

I agree with the email sent to Donald Tsang but on the other hand, I don't think he will do anything since he is not victim like us and his team got privilege even renewing the contract for their maid! What he and his BRILLIANT TEAM knows is bluffing! To me, they are worse than RUBBISH!
