Thanks for your info. I've also booked jetstar for my summer holidays to Singapore. I have some more questions about Jetstar:
1. How many hours early prior to departure time, in HK and in Singapore, that you were required to do check in at the airport? Heard from a bk mom that they arrived 2 hrs early at HK airport, but the counter was not opened yet.
2. You meant the jetsaver light tickets allowed 10kg carry on cabin baggage or checked in baggage? In the website, it is said that no check-in baggage would be allowed for this Jetsaver Light tickets war?
3. Did you request to select seats when you booked the tickets by paying extra cost? Were you eventually been given the same seats?
4. Did the crew staff check your cabin carry on hand bags and luggage when you entered into the gate, for things like drinks, lite snacks etc? I'm thinking that I have to bring some lite snacks like biscuits and milk drinks for my kids. Wonder if they will forbid us from bringing even water bottle??

In the website, it is said that no check-in baggage would be allowed for this Jetsaver Light tickets war? <--- l haven't read too much details for the light. but for safety sake, saver is 'safer' as it is easy to exceed 10kg. i have read from other bloggers that the light is for hand carry only.

Were you eventually been given the same seats? <--- paying extra cost for the seats are those you would like to sit at the first few rows. i did not pay extra for the seats. but when you book the ticket, you can choose the seat and i could sit what i have chosen.

Wonder if they will forbid us from bringing even water bottle?? no. for water, i just brought a bottle and actually the immigration officers check it, not the crew. if you tell them water is for kids,they allow you to bring on broad. the crew let you eat whatever you have and they seemed not care much about it.
