how to place kids to kingdergarden
if the cut off date is sept 1st?
if ,..... the kid is a suspect gifted child ,
how to define and work on placement test?

For Kindergarten, you need to register in around March, you should check with your school district.
The cut off date is Dec 2. For example, if your child is born before Dec 2, 2001, you can put him/her to kindergarten this yr.

The cut off date is Dec 2, no exception. If you child is born on Dec 4, in San Francisco there is no school will accept , must wait one more year.
I heard that it's o.k. in other states, but San Francisco is very strict, even private school won't accept.
if your kid is plan to study in san francisco public school, you must follow the cut-off date rule without any exception. I heard that there is a catholic private school accept kid who born at Dec 3. You may ask them for further information. Here is school information link

In san francisco school, you may send your kid to shcool at any time . For private school, you must apply them individually. For public school, there is an open enrollement around December for next school year. If your kid plan to study at the middle of school term, You've applied throught school district.
The school district will base on your address, school vacanies & Multi-index cultural to determine which school will accept your kid. In san francsico, there is a lot of people apply for a good academic (based on API) standard schools. So your kid probabyl will not go to those schools at the middle of school term.

My son has just graduated in a Sunset Preschool. He is five now. The school is at Judah street, quite near to Vesley's home. The school fee is about $7xx, I forgot the exact amount.The school fee is not very cheap at all. However, the teachers in this school are good. Now, my kids went to public elementary school. I don't know whether it has any spaces for the new students right now. If you want to have the number, please PM me and I will tell you.

My kids' family doctor in Kaiser right now. But they saw Dr Lee last three years. I think she is good because my friends choose her as their family doctor.
