I've read all your comments here but, forgive me, you've kept avoiding the core issue of the matter - why the majority of HK people have to pay for the price of your belief (this occupy activity would benefit hk and our next generations) ?.
You people are doing something which you might believe will bring us some change. Fine. Go do it. But why affect the majority of hk people who might not share your belief ?
"All secondary school students know why they have to come forward ! "
Are you sure ? I am a father of two. Are you a parent ? Do you know this kind of stuff involves lots and lots of complicated political issues here ? Do you know how many of those students believe that once we have civil nomination (公民提名), then our society will be 'saved' and all our problems will soon go away - just like magic ?
'To paralyse the hk economy so as to force the government to respond' !!
How great that idea will be ! At all costs ?? How about us ? Whilst you might think this is the effective way to acheive your goal, you people ignore the majority's interests. You people even ignore the the majority's safety (some people may need emergency services but could be delayed).
You call this DEMOCRACY ???
Your idea of 'if the law fails to serve the justice, we can go to the higher level' really surprises me. When 'some' people in a society take the view that the law in that society cannot serve their idea of justice, then those people can justifiably be expected to break the law freely. And you call it - 'that's what those students have learnt from their schools'.
Again you call that real DEMOCRACY ???
And you call that the genuine meaning of the word 'JUSTICE'.
Please - we are not here chatting a topic in tv or newspaper. We are dealing with a live issue here, which affects lots and lots of hk people. We may be talking about people's lives here.
Please acknowledge the importance of the problem here and face it seriously. Don't just defend for the purpose of defending their action.
