My mother asked me to buy a lot of 和尚袍 when my first baby was born. But then, I found that the 袍 with buttons is more convenient than the one with strings because the knot on the strings always come off and there will be so many strings hanging on the baby.
But I highly recommend the 袍 that all the buttons or strings can open up so that the fragile baby head do not need to go through the clothes from the collar.
And don't choose too stylish one (too many funny things hanging or sticking to it may make your baby not comfortable). Your baby won't need it. I think baby will look good in anything in pastel colour and simple style. In fact, they won't go out too often in the first 3 months. 100% cotton is important. You can feel it. The ones that are very very comfortable will be nice.
Our baby will be born in winter (Feb). I guess we may need to prepare some comfortable and warm blanket as well.
Just my experience, you can consider that.

i am not fit
but i think the effect of wearing maternity clothes will be too dramatic. maybe i am too shy to show so early.
But in fact the tummy is just a small pouch in the first trimester.
wearing the normal clothes make my nausea more serious. want to vomit.
i hope next month will be better
BTW, how much weight have you guys gain so far.
I have already gain 3 pounds this time round.

我都會覺得鈕既袍好過和尚袍，繩我都好怕會打死結~

咁我想問問，著羊毛內衣，仲洗唔洗係入面著多件普通既內衣架~

因入院張list 要我帶二件羊毛內衣入去，跟住再帶出院既衫，我都唔知帶咩衫衫~

我作晚問了我老爺(佢係婦產科醫生),佢話私家醫生所做的test和一站式的係有d唔同!佢建議我如果book到一站式的話,可以去做下;如果book唔到就等16week時係私家醫生到做!

聽完後我立即上網預約(因為我現在剛剛13week),他們的效率非常高!今日下午已回覆我,並約好明天下午可以去做!! 可惜我老公明天下午請唔到假,只好自己一個去啦！有點驚添! :-(

我剛過左3個月, 但體重已經比未pregnant時重左10 lbs la.

可能勁食得, 又勁訓得既緣故la.

係呀, 我都聽過bk mami講過佢地會儘量同你安排日子架, 除非連14周都過晒, 如果唔係佢地都唔會拒於門外架, 你唔使驚, 你睇咁多mami做過都覺得ok, 就可放心啦, 你老公陪唔到你去真係可惜勒, 你可以搵你屋企人陪你去丫, 例如你mami, 記得臨尾問下醫生睇唔睇係仔定係女呀!!! 同埋如果你係要返工既, 記得抽血既時候問埋姑娘羅到診紙呀!
放心啦, 你聽日搞掂就上黎報告, 佢地會幫bb度埋身長架, ,到時上黎update record勒!

我睇你既due date唔應該係Feb 7. 我既 FIRST day of last M is May 03. 我睇過兩個私家醫生亦在政府醫院做產前檢查, 佢地計我既 due date都係Feb 6 / 7.
You better double check with other doctor to make sure the due date wor.

"I've done the Down's screening today and fortunately, the neck-skin of my baby is NORMAL!!!! " ~~ Just wondering, why you can get the result immediately? Is it because you check it from the private doctor?? I've also done the Down's screening few days ago in Tsan Yuk Hospital, but the doctor said that I need to check the blood in August. Then will know the result later on.?-(

我沒有什麼肥到. 之前還瘦了..因為沒有胃口食野. 這個月好少少, 肥了 2lbs. 不過到中期係會肥 .我第一胎都肥了37-40 lbs. 醫生話最好是肥 2x lbs . 否則難修身.

我仍然唔多想食野. 不過作嘔情況就大大改善. 希望快d有番胃口. 唔食又唔得. 我會胃痛. 食又想嘔. 真係煩.
希望時間快d過.

重了10lbs咁多...咁快就重咁多...到懷孕中期及後期會仲重得多d架!! 我睇書及聽d friend話懷孕期唔好增磅太多,否則對自己和BB都唔好!!

我現在13周...比起未懷孕前重了4lbs左右!!

雖然我老爺係婦產科醫生,但有好多嘢我都唔好意思問佢,除非是好urgent啦(就像今次咁),否則我都係問我的婦產科醫生!

明天我諗都係得我自己一個去,除了家中的菲傭和姑仔外,無人得閒...但我應該唔會叫她們陪的!

希望明天我遇到的professor和姑娘都好nice啦!

呀...我上星期六係私家醫生到照完超聲波...咁快又照有無問題嫁?!

I gained 23 lbs in my last pregnancy and resume normal weight one and a half month later.
In my last pregnancy, my doctor advises me not to gain too much weight so that the natural delivery will be smoother cos baby will be the right size.

My baby was 6lbs12oz and I really thank my doctor for the advice since the delivery is really smooth.

我都知最好是肥 2x lbs, 不過~~人在江湖身不由己ar!! BB要食, 如果我唔食又會餓到勁作嘔. 做人母親真係甚艱難

我第一胎都重左55lbs, 我本身得97lbs, 呢個重量係過左我個人體重超過一半. 好彩果時醫生都"炸型"咋.

我今胎同上一胎一樣都無嘔, so far都算幾舒服, 不過人地話兩胎駝既情況如果相似就bb既性別通常一樣, 如果係真我老公一定好失望. 希望唔係la.

係呢, 咁你上胎仔定女? 依家幾大ar? 我仔仔黎緊9月就3歲lu.

No problem lah. You are so slim. Just 97lbs.
And your baby is really cute.

I have read some materials which said underweight women should gain more weight during pregnancy whilst overweight one should gain less. So, gain more weight just suit you.

I am sweetma. I have one 13 month old baby girl and my hubby want a baby boy this time. But I know we will still be very happy if it turns out to be a girl.

我上一胎都用左差不多半年先回覆返未生既體重, 不過又係因為懶, 所以呢半年除左坐完月在家踏左一個健身單車外, 其餘時間都無做過運動, 係佢自然瘦返咋. 唔知今胎有無咁好彩呢

其實我讀書時係肥妹仔一名, 不過自從結婚後就開始脂肪轉移~~我就愈來愈瘦, 而我老公就愈來愈肥. 跟住就定左型la.

我仔仔出世有7lbs. 不過依家已經係個3xlbs既小肥仔lu. :lol:
