我12月預產, 都係未執袋呀

係呀, 好似pigulu所講, 應該有個粉紅色好多張彩色printed papers的紙folder. 反正我已經打入電腦, 畀個copy你丫:

母親
產前覆診卡
產前紀錄冊
身分證
梳洗日用品
水杯
廁紙�紙巾
拖鞋
產婦衛生巾
衛生帶(1吋闊無彈性繃帶1卷，平均剪成4條)
輔幣或電話卡
胸圍
藍墊紙1包

嬰兒
初生嬰兒紙尿片
棉花一卷(剪成棉花塊，以清洗大小便)
小盆

記得以前響贊育生, 入院仲要帶:
-紙杯數個及棉花球一包(用以清潔眼睛)
-70-75%火酒一瓶(用以清洗臍帶)
出院時要帶BB包被, 嬰兒衣袍同內衣, 唔知而家要唔要呢?

I gave birth to my baby in Sept 04 at QM. My husband is a civil servant, too. I could upgrade to the 2nd class ward only after delivery upon availability. They wouldn't let you stay in the 2nd class ward before delivery. You have to tell the nurse once you arrive the hospital. My husband was stay with me at the labor ward and he saw the whole process. I hope my information can help you.

Dear chingchingmom,

My husband is a civil servant and I can stay in the 2nd class ward at a cheap rate. Actually, QM will just let you stay in the common ward (Big ward) first. It is because there are many different cases. Some mommies may have laboring for over 1 or 2 days before they can get in the labor ward (產房), some may stay in the labour ward for over 20 hours. It's kind of waste the resources if you keep a 2nd class bed but you don't actually use it (if your are at the labour ward for a long times). So, you can only stay at the 2nd class ward after you give birth to your baby. I think that's fair. It is the case for the civil servant. If you pay at the normal rate, I am sure you can get in the 2nd class or 1st class ward whenever you want. But, please let the nurse know your request once you get in the hospital. They need to help you to make the application.

For my case, I went to the hospital on 9 Sept at 9:30am (coz' of 見紅, no water sac breaking) and I were given the big ward bed. I didn't have regular labouring and the doctor told me that if I don't have a 有規律陣痛, I need to be kicked out the next day. Then, I just like a crazy woman...walking back and forth the corridor for more than 6 hours...just wait for the true labor. Hopefully, I had regular pain starting from 10:00pm and my bottom dilated for 2-3 cm on 10 Sept at 4:00am. I were sent to the labor ward then. My water sac broke at 7:00am and my baby came to me before 9:00am. The whole process was smooth...pain...hard but touching. I still remembered that my husband and I burst into tears when we saw our little angel. Our feeling and emotion were so overwhelming, we melted....and cried so bad..ha! Then, my husband was asked to get out of the labor ward. The nurse cleaned my botton, sew the wound and then they let me to breastfeed my little angel for 30 mins (actually, I didn't have the mama milk for her....it just for stimulating and help us to build a bond). Then, they arranged the 2nd class bed for me. I slept 2 nights there. QM charged me 1 night for big ward and 2 nights for 2nd class ward....it only costed around HK$502. The 2nd class ward was more comfortable and the menu were a lot better....only 2 beds in a ward.

My baby ran back to QM for phototherapy 照燈 for 2 times. It is the special rate 'coz my husband is a civil servant. For the publics, it only cost about HK$68 per night including everything.
1st time: 3 days/2 nights -->HK$50
2nd time: 2 days/1 night --> HK$25

Don't worry...the nurse are great and nice! The cost are unbelievable low!!! My husband and I thought ....our tax really get pay off.

Dear all,

I think the publics can also get in the 2nd class ward, it costs about HK$2600 per night (I am not sure the exact rate). You can call QM to clarify. For publics (if stay in big ward for 4 days/3 nights and not civil servant), its around HK$ 350 in total.

For my opinion, it worths to give birth at public hospital. You can save a lot of the money to buy things to your baby. For private hospital, it costs more than HK$20,000 for normal delivery. Touch wood.....if your baby need any follow-up treatment and it costs more. My friend's wife give birth to a twins and the babies need phototherapy and they were too tiny and they need to stay at the hospital for a week. Finally, it costed him nearly HK$100,000 for the case. The couple use nearly all of their savings.

之前打過去瑪麗問，每日收費如下﹕

大房（三等房）$100（香港市民）﹔$49（公務員或其家屬）
二等房$2600（香港市民）﹔$226（公務員或其家屬）
頭等房$3900（香港市民）﹔$304（公務員或其家屬）

如果係普通香港市民，頭等同二等房個rate，只為房租，其他要再逐樣計錢，例如化驗、治療等﹔如果係公務員或其家屬，則係全包宴，但若要揀醫生，則要收返個醫生的consultation fee。

因為你入院時會去產前病房檢查先,9樓有兩邊,左邊係產前病房,除非辦入院,如果唔係先生唔可以響非探病時間入去,所以如果你生得入左產房,先生就直接去產房搵你,產房響產前病房對面咋~
如果半身麻醉,先生都可以陪產架,到時你記得同醫生/姑娘講ar~手術都好快我見兩個媽媽都係做左兩個鐘就返出黎,但實際應該1個鐘多d,但之後要一日唔落得地同插尿喉,吊鹽水,BB會等你落地果日先比返你自已take care
果日個亞姐同我講,買K座樓下7-11有隻床墊好大好用d,大過我地平時用既一陪,一包有10張,黃色包裝

我上星期去左瑪麗參觀，個姑娘話其實普通房同二等房主要是環境上的差別，如果唔係公務員或者HA職員，普通市民入住要先比4萬按金，如果選擇頭等房就要比6萬按金，佢仲話如果真係要開刀的話，這筆錢都用到七七八八的了。如果要選擇醫生的話，個醫生仲可能會另外收費。

除了環境上的差別外，膳食方面會多些選擇，有中西餐。但係其實照顧媽媽的姑娘都係一樣，並唔會有特別優待，因為無論選擇普通房、二等房甚至頭等房，都係係同一個ward入面，所以姑娘係咁多就係咁多。

對於合資格的本港居民，入住普通房的收費相對地就便宜很多很多，全包宴每日100元。
