Just let it be! Chit Chit is O.K. right now. But when I answered him how it happened, he didn't answer. (Last time when the girl bit him, he told me that it happened when they draw, everyone has a paper and the girl wanted another paper!)

Hi fanny,

I don't know nothing when my son was in Nursery Class. You will know more when you talk to more parents. Don't worry! you will know which school is best for your girl when it's your turn to decide.

Lutheran Academy has direct Secondary school. Just that it's new & about 30K-40K (school fee). No one knows how good is it. Not all DSS are using English to teach (saying Maths & Science) some uses Cantonese as well.

SL's interview is not that difficult. It's just like Zenith's interview. I will choose SL becos I think there are more flexible. I can use back my son's old textbks. However, I like the teachers & staffs of Zenith.

I choose DSS becos I'm not use to Cantonese teaching. I'm not educated in HK therefore I don't know how to teach when most of the subjects are in Cantonese. Not becos I don't know Chinese characters just that I studied Mandarin while Maths & Science taught in English. There are many good govt school in YL however I heard that they have too many homework. And, I think that English & Mandarin are very important. It must be trained from young.

Actually, what do you think how good of DSS vs gov't school?

I don't know how to compare their IS with other. Yes, there have full day class.

Have you hand in SMC's applicatiom? When will be your date of interview? I hand in the application on last Tues & the interview was arranged on Friday. Quite fast isn't it. I didn't attend the talk but I sent my hubby over ... heehee ... He told me that they focus more on English & French. Lutheran Academy is quite new, wonder is it a good school.

My girl fell sick again. Poor thing just recovered & sick again. I guess the weather is too bad. I will let her take the school bus next month. I think it's better for her & me. Heehee ...

Emma,

I asked my girl on Friday night but she said "no". Anyway, it's so common in kindergarten and to me, it's not a big issue. Although I believed most of us will educate and tell our kids not to do this and that, sometimes, they are really uncontrollable and unpredictable and we can just continue to try our best!

Sim,

Thanks for telling me that late submission may lead to the result that I cannot choose the am session. Then, I have to try to get the application form asap.

It's so good to learn from all of you the points to consider in planning the education for our kids. Some of us are the working mother and the first time mother and before my girl was born, I can never imagine that we have to plan for the kids future so early.

Actually you can still apply for SL after the deadline if there still have the vacancy they will accept your kid. However if you want AM session you must apply earlier becos most of the ...

因為我之前都起天水圍d學校做過，覺得大部份小學都係一般，有d行政上仲好亂，遁小叫做起天水圍係最好law。元朗有好多學校都好好，但我覺得佢地太多功課，好辛苦！！

Oh, 小朋友病真係好慘，我囝囝都係一番學病左幾日，以為佢好番，點知番左幾日又嚟過，又去睇醫生。見佢好似個weekend冇事，番完學又聽到佢又幾聲咳

。我mummy話次次接囝囝時，都覺得佢隻手凍凍地，但冇人幫佢著番件冷衫law，我mummy已經同miss lei 提過，但都係冇著，我懷疑唔知係唔係學校凍，所以keep住都未好得曬

We handed the application to SMC last Sat and the interview will be on this Friday, I think they want to run the process faster than others then push the parents to make earlier decision - not fair to us indeed. So your son attended the interview? Last Friday? How's that?

Last nite my hubby started worrying about the primary result as there are 2222 applications to YW this year, only 300 will be selected while some of them are with higher rank due to fathers as old boys and/or same religion, we will be at the end of the queue. Anyway, I will still try Lutheran Academy. I will join the school tours organised by zenith to feel how the govt primary schools are, if we are so unlucky to get any DSS place, then I still have to know which govt school is good, touchwood!

My sons will also take school bus from tmr onwards, is your girl full day kid?

Parents,
Time really flies, it's good for you to start doing research on primary schools, I did before at this stage but too bad that I moved last year, I know nothing about YL, I have to do it all over again.

我囝囝都係上次病完好番幾日, 跟住好快又病, 成日流鼻水, 我都懷疑學校冷氣凍, 老師又唔同小朋友著外套, 另外, 亞仔之前返學都無喊過, 由上星期開始, 佢就喊唔肯返學, 問老師, 老師又話佢無嘢.

我都覺得得兩個老師, 照顧廿幾個小朋友唔足夠, 希望遲些囝囝明天開始搭校車會好D.

今天陪了囡囡返學放學, 放學時手握她的手是有點冰冷的. 我也不知道是否真的冷氣大了(因為上到班房我仍覺得熱, 是我在學校門外等的關係吧) 不過, 她也是病多了, 每個weekend都發燒, nose running等, 周一又好了, 所以可以繼續上學.

多謝你地的寶貴意見. 今天去學校睇小一的分配, 元朗的津貼學校派得都好散. 我也是對元朗的學校一無所知. 所以真的要努力做research. 今期有本雜誌講名牌幼稚園, 我見到有間在九龍的聖若瑟小學是與在錦田的聖若瑟小學是否一樣呢?

噚日收到親子蜜語話今個星期五 birthday party，26號國慶嘉年華，但嘉年華可能去到，唔知係唔係一定要出席呢？仲要幫佢買傳統服裝比佢升旗禮，好busy！！

Hi lovelyfrog,

Yes, I found that the air-condition in the classroom quite cold as well. My girl's hands felt cold whenever I fetch her. I have also refer this to Miss li & asked her to help my girl put on the jacket when she is cold. But I think they are too busy to do it. Hopefully they know that after many children taking sick leave.
