5 days of trip really don't have much time to do shopping. But I strongly recommend that when you see items that you want to buy, don't waste time to think or bargain unless your trip is purely shopping! If your trip is 親子卡通遊園, you really need to spend almost one whole day as transportation takes much of the time.
For myself my trip for 5 days is roughly like that:
1st day - arrive at the minshuku around 1600, by the time we went out is around 1700. We have to let my girl eat first & we quickly went to buy daily used items like formula from toys'R"us & buy entrance tickets at the disney store. Then go back to rest & bought some food at the nearby supermarket.
2nd day - Reach Disneyland around 1100 & spent the whole day there, by the time we left is around 2200
3rd day - reach 台揚 around 1100 again & left there around 1900 & went to shinjuku to do shopping. By the time we reach there , the malls are already closing & we only ate over there
4th day - went to Tama Zoo around 1200 & left around 1530 because I really wanted to do shopping . So we went back to shinjuku & grab a few items from GAP & Fancl. Need to rush again because we had a dinner appointment with my husband's staff at a very very nice fusion japanese restaurant (President Bush & the Prime Minister of Japan are one of the customers). Strongly recomment as the price are not really expensive.
5th day - last chance to do the final shopping. Went to toys'R'us again & had lunch at the mall. Then packed things to go home........ :-( :-( :-(
Did you prepare any medicine or special drink for your daughter before you go to the trip? Since my daughter is so weak, she is very easy to get sick. I worry about her as this is the first time for her to go for a long trip(5 days). Do you have any suggestion?
A stroller is a must go item if your girl still fits. at least the stroller can help you to carry your "goods"!!
I've brought 160000yen & brought back 80000yen home. We mostly use credit card to settle our bills except places that don't accept cards.
I didn't go to any of the phamacy to check the 魚油丸 cos my girl is having kawaii & I think the price in hkg is pretty fine with me. You can go to the big ones like "Matsuixxxx" something like that to check including Sofina & UV Cut.. this phamacy is all over in Japan.
"格價" is a good practice but I think you have too many things to compare & you'll go crazy buying at the end!!!!
台揚 is name as Tokyo Bay Area or something similar. This place is where the Pallete Town, MegaWeb, Toyota Showroom, VenusFord, aquairiam,....etc & a few others malls nearby. The train at this area is computerized where no ones drive the train. I suggest you to take the cruise to there & leave by taking the train.

Of course I'd prepare alot of medication for my girl. Not only her but also for my husband & myself!!!
Touch wood!!! nothing happens to any of us until now............... Don't worry too much , Japan is really a clean place, just make sure you let your girl to drink water from bottle water & not from the tap if you think she is weak.
I'd brought the following things for my girl:
Medication for:
1) 調理腸胃
２）止肚痛
３）收鼻水�通鼻塞
４）抗敏感藥
５）止咳
６）fever/ 止痛
7) Cream for bites/敏感/ rashes/
8) alot of alcohol wipes
Of course need to buy something for myself la!!!
i've bought a Blue Label shoulder bag (23000yen)for myself at the VenusFort. And over there at Commee Ca Market don't charge you any tax too even though you can't reach the price 10000yen .
Want to buy Porter bag too! But really no time to go to the mall to check.
I read from some other articles regarding 西武園 is just a place that you need to pay entrance fees to do shopping. Nothing much to suprise. There are alot of Sanrio shops around the shopping district where you can shop. Have you print out the discount coupon yet??
