you mean pour the babyoil in the water and soak her in it. hmm.. i should try that, i was use steroid cream on her and then aquaphor on her for the longest time, and I jsut recently switch over to oilatum and used some herbal medicine to boil water to give her a bathe, sometimes it seems help, but it sometimes seems worst. but i want to keep on use the herbal water to give her a bath for few more month and see what's going on.. and i didn't ask her dermatologist to give her skin test, but then the doctor said there's no need, because she is too young, and the result will come out incorrect. but so far, she doens't seem like allergic to any food though.

we are used graco triumph 5 comfort touch carseat with latch, it is around $120.00. it is so good, and we drive long distant all the time, so sit in the car for 2 hour is normal to my daughter. and so far i love that, it is very confortable. and I like britax too, but it is a bit pricey, i think.

You got Natalie's chinese name correct. You know there are quite a few chinese characters that sounds the same as "lok yee"...hahaha. So you've decided on the boulevard? Maybe they took it out from the floor sample but the decathelon also has a cover to protect the "important part". Anyways, I believe both are similar since both are from Britax. You can also get other style of britax covers online for about $50 each.

What is Century 21? Is that similar to Forever 21 in LA? Just nosy :lol: :lol: :lol: For the playpen, I don't think Ryan will be in it for that long. Natalie hasn't gone into her playpen for months now...don't waste your money. We thought it would be useful so we bought 2 playpens...one for upstairs and one downstairs..plus her crib...she came home to 3 beds. Now, one playpen is in the garage and the other one is just to put toys. Luckily she is using her crib everyday.

Yes, I pour the baby oil into the bath water and soak her in it. I don't use any soap for her, just shampoo for her hair cuz she gets sweaty. The allergy doctor didn't recommend skin test for natalie either becuz the baby would have to be still for 20 mins and the results are not very accurate. I really tried not to used too much steriod cream on her before and now, aquaphor suffice. Just hang in there...your baby will get better soon. If you used baby oil for the bath, make sure u get fragrance free. So far, I only found neutrogena that has fragrance free. Don't get johnson and johnson...sucks.

唔好買bassinet 啦, 用4個幾月就無用, 佢一開始轉身你就唔用得, 佢返轉跌落黎好大獲. 用CRIB最安全..
我而家都係成日做唔到野, 開始又容易攰返, 吸塵都分成幾次黎吸, 跟住未吸完第一次B女又跌晒D餅乾碎落地下....

有時都好氣餒吓... D家務完本半粒鐘可以做完而家要成幾個鐘...

我諗我都係要當做家務好似拍拖咁,弓隨緣囉.... 哈哈

依家呢啲可能係人哋講既quality of time．　人最唔開心係覺得自已make咗錯既dicision, 我成日同我老公講, 依家呢條路係主比我哋最好既路, 如果, 你去咗london做嘢(因我哋依家住鄉村), 可能上次terror attack, 我哋死咗呢?

I haven't noticed any yard sale in my area so I don't think "business" would be good. I was thinking of saving the playpens for any friends who will need it later. When will your friends arrived?...they will bring along some mooncake for you rite? I went and bought a box for my MIL yesterday from Kee Wah and also bought one mooncake with 3 yolks for my hubby, nat, and myself...hahaha...

You know after Natalie was born, I realized being pregnant was the easiest part...at least I can bring her along everywhere I go and she can't really bother me

Now that she is older, she has a mind of her own and demands a lot more :tongue: :tongue:

We just opened a savings account for Natalie to put her red envelope money from Chinese NY, Full-moon party, and her birthday party. I think there's no need to think to save so early..who knows...maybe we will win the lotto...hahaha...

Do you have any family in England with you? I don't think I can live away from my family...I will feel so sad :cry: :cry: :cry:

七星茶 is to 清熱氣, i usually give it to my dauther when she start to catching a cold or as 涼茶.

yeah, that is from evenflo, and i have been used mine for almost 2 year now, and is still in pretty good condition. and you can take it down to wash it too, and it is machine washable. just makesure it has to be airdry.

i'll hanging in there, and how old is your baby? and i will go get the neutrogena baby lotion, and i don't like the J&J baby line either, my friend work in J&J, and when my daughter born, she got me a bunch of stuff, and most of them are wasted though.. i was aquaphor on her, and then it seems too oil for her for the summer, so i switch her over to cetaphil cream, but then nows her skin is start peeling, eventhough i switch back to aqorphor, it still peeling :cry:

I open a safe for my daughter when she was 1 year old, but then the interest rate is way too low, so i don't really put any money in there for her except the intial deposit. instead, i open a college account for her, and i put money in that account for her everymonth, so hopefully, by the way she reach college age, i'll have enough money for her.

i used about 4 oz of "mean yan chan" and a little bit of "gold silver flower" to boil in a pot a water, and just pour the water out in a small tub to bathe her, i do that twice a week. yeah.. i'll post when the pediatric dermatologist said after i go. hopefully she could help. and hang in there.

I agree with Yan, the interest rate for the savings account are very low so don't expect too much. We just put Natalie's gift money in there so she will learn the habit of saving up. We didn't open a college savings account for Natalie becuz that will decrease her chance in getting grants and student loans. In California, we have many student loans that are subsidized by the gov't (ie. gov't pays for interest) so I don't want her to miss that chance. You can look into other savings options (ie. mutual funds) and put it under you and your hubby's name.

Yan,

Natalie is 13.5 months. Her eczema started going away at around 9 months. I agree that Aquaphor is a little thick for all day use so we just put it on her entire body after bath at night since it's bed time already. In the morning, I would apply aquaphor to her face, hands, knees, and feet since those areas are more vulnerable to dryness. The rest of her body, I would put cetaphil. The neutrogena we buy is a body oil, hope it works on your baby too

Amanda開始介小便片, 但一日都會失手1-2次, 雖然80-90% perfect 冇失手(失親手都係佢喊同day nap囉), 我希望佢可以冬天前介咗片--日頭--就好囉).
其實如果教亞仔介大便片, 唔算早.. 7-8個月大係肛門期開始, 零願佢乜都未識就教, 好過大個時佢"監介"會反抗..
用potty 櫈for 男仔會易啲, or those 有男仔小便cover嘅厠板都ok. 如教用potty 櫈, 你就要同亞瀝仔介多一次, as potty 櫈始終唔係厠所.
Amanda都係7個月大介大便, 到佢識行識走時就好好揍, 因為佢唔肯大便喺片喥lu.

各位靚媽咪,
我看夜之後, 成日喉嚨發炎, 出暗瘡, 黑頭, 走米.. 我唔想食西药, 有乜解救 ?-( 我已日日飲夏姑草, 五花茶...etc 但係時好時壞呢...

i bought the potty stool from safety first at toysrus. 每次我都會用個disposable plastic bag (you can buy a roll of those生果膠袋) 'lup'住個potty toilet bowl, 咁衛生D又唔洗咁'wud'突, 用完就'dum'乾手淨腳, 唔冼煩.

我都係10個月先potty train valerie poo poo, 不過之前大約4個月開始當valerie farts,我就會'豆'住佢等佢poopoo. 到6個月就每朝早奶奶完之後就'豆'下佢poopoo, 冇就lunch後試多一次, 晚上就不會試, 唔想佢慣o左夜晚poo. 唔知係咪自鈿就開始慢慢train, 所以佢一路都好少自己亂咁係片片度poopoo. my sis's daughter 就15個月介日片, 都ok成功. 我諗我會試下早D幫valerie介日片, 點解? 因為my mom told us that me and my sister 1歲多少少就介左日片, 咁我同我個妹諗valerie &佢囡囡都應該有少少遺傳, 好似natalie 咁講 '得ga得ga' haha

放心我唔會push 佢一定要得ga得ga

I think I need to start training Natalie to poo poo in the potty. Her poo poo schedule is pretty accurate, usually after her milk in the morning. I think your idea in putting a plastic produce bag in the potty is very very good. I was a little hesitant in training her cuz I cannot see myself cleaning the potty...hehe. What do you think about the children toilet seat that attaches onto the adult toilet, do you think that would work also

At least I just have to flush when she's done with her business.

Do you like to drink "fa kei sum" tea? I think that might help with your pimples and tireness from the night shift. Before you go to sleep in the morning, maybe you can do a hydrating mask to sooth your skin. For blackheads, I don't know what to do cuz I'm struggling with the same problem :cry: :cry:

I'm so jealous you can lose weigh...I am still struggling with my last 10 lbs. I don't want to look like a floater when I go on the cruise

For our family room, we still have to childproof our fireplace cuz it's made of bricks. My hubby bought a mattress foam yesterday and we need to figure out what's the best way to cover the fireplace w/o making it too ugly. But I guess better looking ugly than the baby getting hurt.
