good to hear that u r still taking chinese medicine. i think chinese medicine can really help to improve body condition, so keep it up until your next trial! when will u go back to visit dr tay? is your m back to normal already?
went to have my first injection today & i was told that i need to take it for 7 consecutive days! the nurse told me that the vaginal tablets are not so effective on me. so i need to go back to the clinic everyday & will check the progesterone level again on fri. hopefully it'll improve. but it doesnt sound very promising to me...
M is back to normal but as Chinese ec, it takes time to improve. The most significant improvement is my health, luckily (touch wood), no cold or coughing in the past two months. It's really rare cos in the past, I was used to catch cold or fever in winter/spring time. So, I believe it helps. Hopefully back to trail in next cycle, i.e. in March.
For yourself, don't think too much and follow dr's instruction. Then, good news will come.
I have one question to ask. This is my second time with gonal-f injections. In this cycle and the previous one, I had egg white vaginal discharge very early on in the cycle, i.e. day 7 or 8 (after 5 or 6 injections) then stop afterwards. Is it normal? When you all had gonal-f, did you have the same experience?

I also had gonad-f injections in the last cycle for IUI. I had the discharge from about day 10 onwards. But I had very bad back pain from day 8.
I can't remember exactly remember that if i have any white discharge during the process.
But, during the this and past cycles (just visiting Chinese ec), she told me that it is the sign of egg releasing. I don't know if this is true. Perhaps, other sisters can help.
Anyway, don't think too much. Wait for your good news.
Thank you for your response. Acutally I was quite worried that my egg(s) were coming out too early. I have told my doctor about the discharge and he asked me to blood test for LH and E2 levels to see if ovulation was imminent. If so, I would have to inject Cetrotide to delay the ovulation. Anyway, I am waiting for the clinic to call me back. 真的沒有expect會有這樣的事情發生, 希望不會too late.
when i took gonal-f for ivf this cycle, i had discharge much sooner than when i took puregon. but dun worry too much, it's a good sign that u r responding well to the injections & i'm sure Cetrotide will help to delay the egg releasing.

as for me, i've done my 1st ivf last week & am now waiting for the result. but my hormone level is low so i have to take injections everyday. dun have much hope this time.... :-|
My egg came out too soon(on day 11 when it was 15-16mm). When I had the ultrasound on day 12, the doctor said my egg has been released and I had to do IUI on the same day.
But it finally failed! :-(
I did not receive andy Cetrotide last time because nobody knew my egg would come out so soon.
So don't worry. You doctor will monitor the egg for you.
I believe you can bingo this time.
I don't have much hope this cycle. In fact doctor didn't think that my eggs were about to come out when he did the ultrasound on me yesterday (day 7) as he said the egg sizes were still too small. But I told him that I had been having a lot of egg white discharge for 2 days already. Then he asked me to do blood test and inject Cetrotide. I did the first Cetrotide injection yesterday, and I really hope it wansn't too late. 如果我無bring up有egg white discharge, 咁今個cycle米白費!?
for iui cases, i really dun know how they can monitor to prevent the release of the eggs prematurely except performing u/s. but for ivf, the nasal spray has this function of preventing the releasing of the eggs.
but pls dun worry too much, if u have injected cetrotide, it should help. do u still need to take gonal-f? how many eggs do u have this time? u'll have more egg white discharge when u have more eggs.
btw, do u remember what is your progesterone level last time?
