Good morning everyone! I'm new there. Would anyone of you advise me : shall I buy D80 or D40 if I am a beginner? What are their main difference? What are their current price? Thank you for your advice.

If your budget is not very tight, go for D80; If your budget is very tight, go for D50.

D80 body price: $6700, but 無貨
D50 body price: $4000, but 無貨
D40 kit set price: $4500 (body around $3500).

It sounds that D80 is the most popular choice. As for the lens, do you have any suggestion? Any all rounded type? I prefer to have a reasonably good one instead of keep upgrading from time to time.

D40 body only (not available on the market yet)

D80 could use all lens, but D40 could not use some good (but cheap) lens.....

For beginner, I would go for D80/ D50

In terms of Lens, it various a lot, depending on what photos you want to take? For Babies? For landscape or daily photos?

Usually for beginner, I will recomment D80 Kit set (including 18 - 135mm lens) and a 50mm f/1.4 or 50mm f/1.8 to start.

我之前都有諗ｄ８０，仲差５多決定要去買，但去度ｓｈｏｐ，見到ｄ８０，覺得好大部，拎住都手震個隻．又５想買ｄ４０．有人同我講ｄ５０最正，又平，但佢只得ｓｉｌｖｅｒ　ｃｏｌｏｒ，我５　ｌｉｋｅ．　最終買左ｃａｎｏｎ　４００ｄ．

呢個係我既experience.

D50　同　ｄ８０, 我last monday 係沙田ｃｍｋ都見到有得賣（但only 1 set, 部D80 佢得登拎比我），而家５知賣左未，快去睇睇

D80 是六百萬像素, 而功能上比D50高很多, 如果budget許可, 建議買D80, 有排唔洗upgrade. 不過鏡就可能要upgrade.

D80 的ket lens都OK, 不過如果想再快d, 玩前清后濛, sharp到可以數汗毛, 就最好買支定焦, 例如:

50mm f1.8 約$800;
50mm f1.4 $1830;
85mm f1.8 $2520.

不過玩定焦好易上癮, 未做好心理準備前勿試.

My main pirpose is to take shot for my son who is 3 years old.
How much is the whole kit for D80? Is it more economy to buy the kit ?
If I buy a 定焦 len, do I need to buy other lens ?

打左去tst 個度, 個sales 好好人, 佢叫我拎部機比佢睇下, 話免費幫我睇下部機有無壞.

頭先拎去fotomax 晒左d 相, ok bor, 無問題bor, 5通我部機無壞

柔光罩 - 加在閃光燈上, 可將燈頭向上, 使閃光輸出時柔d, 又可避免直接閃光傷及小朋友眼睛

Sorry, Sorry, 講錯左你部D80添. 應該是 "千萬像素".

今日問過百老匯, D40, D80, D50 都無貨.
