Hi ladies,

Need your advice on the size of reissue......

I've bought a 227 metallic blue reissue but I'm only 5''1'. Is it too big for me? It seems alright when it goes with jeans but too big when i'm wearing dress or denim skirt.

I want to sell it and buy a 226 size. What's your opinion?

I can't make up my mind as I already have 226 in other colours but this is the only 227 I have. Are there any modelling pics from you who have similar height?

I think 227 should not be too big to most people, but might not be as elegant as 226 when wearing dress.... for me, i wear pants more, so 227 is perfect for my daily wear... u should get the size u use the most, no need to care if u've already got 226 in other colors... of course 227 looks more chic in jeans and causal wear.. just my opinion, i still like 227 better!

Thanks for your sharing!

After checking the price of a 226 metallic blue in xx Station:;pppp: , I will keep my 227 and forget the trade-in. Anyway 227 is a perfect size for causal wear.

Hi, after reading your posts & all the nice pix of your bagsssss here, it's really tempting to get a chanel bag for myself too! (I haven't own 1 yet)

I guess I'd prefer the style of reissue than the classic flap, and my preference would be metallic green or dark silver, but I know both colors are hot items and can hardly find in the shops....

I went to the Canton Road shop this afternoon but there're not many available for display. Can you please advise if the 2.55 reissue bags are limited edition? I'm not sure if I'd go for 226 or 227, but definitely not 228 coz its weight will be a concern for me.

Also, do you gals know if it's cheaper to get chanel from Spain, London or Germany? Thanks!

2.55 reissue is not considered as limited edition in general, the reissues should be released all year round, only the stocks quantities are limited, that's why difficult to get.. but there are many reissues sell in xx stations, u can take a look... may be the price is $2K to $3K more than original price... i think the stations didn't mark up the price as much as before as they got many reissue stocks, that's what i observe...

I only know the price from UK is cheaper than HK, i don't know Germany & Spain though...

Thanks so much for your advice, fatping1. It's good to know that it's cheaper to get chanel in UK than HK. My parents are going to London & Barcelona for holidays this summer so maybe I can ask them to get 1 for me.

But I donno why my husband doesn't want me to get a chanel bag.... he'd prefer me to get a Hermes or BV.... so I'm still struggling.

Anyhow, if I decided to get a chanel bag, I guess I won't buy it from xx stations. I'd rather wait or get another style/color from chanel shops. Just to play safe.

Can anyone tell me what model is this? i saw the classic flap got the 皮 in the chain..... and this one got no 皮 ge? does it come with any other color too?
