xxl,
Holman will studying in Victoria N class in this August. Now, he is not is PN class but only playgroup as they only offered pm class and I withdrawn and applied for N class again. What sort of information you want to know
Holmanma>> Victoria will have a branch at Homantin (or already started last Sept?) ?-( I'm considering it if it offers whole day nursury. I've got two hesitations: (1) it's too far from our place and (2) I have the impression that it is very commercial.
um... I don't know why many moms said Victoria is commercial.
For me, every "private" kinders. are commercial (my own feeling) about the administration issues. Each school has to garantee their income. However, the teachers in Victoria are very nice. At least, they will try to dig out each children's interest, likes and unlikes. Every staff (even amah) remember each kids name (even my mom also said she's impressed in this).
Of course, to certain extent, I think they will put an eye on the family background. One of the Dec. mom's daughter is also studing in HH Victoria and she also "notices" that Victoria preferred "educated" parents (not about their $$) and hence she later found that it's appreciated as the kids with more or less background will communicated much better. (To certain degree, I agreed with her).
Homantin branch was opend in last year Feb. and I saw in some topics that their admin. works was quite messy (maybe a new school).
For me, I just buy their "bi-teachers" system (that means one local teacher and one NET) and I want holman to learn "better" languages and not much pressure for learning (as he is a "small boy"). Besides, Victoria has its own primary school which is under IB system (it'll one of my backup later ) That's why I choose Victoria.
