Finally see u here la, sorry to hear that your BB need to back to hospital and have the light treatment. But don't worry too much ah.......my hubby also have this problem when he born, I think maybe tmr BB can go home lei, u can put him under the "white light" at home, and under SUN, will have the same effect ka,askask Dr. how high is his "yellow" level, see if BB can go home or not.....

All,
I feel my tummy pain last night and can't sleep well, this morning I wakeup at 4am and can't go back to sleep till 6am, then need to go to work at 6am.............ai........and when I back to hospital I feel my tummy pain increase, luckily many patients go home today, so I can leave earlier at 12:30 noon. Then I back home to sleep lor.

唔好唔開心，我好明白你既心情...因為我個B都打左7日7夜抗生素...我一樣係咁心痛...但係BB面仔黃係好normal...好多bb都會...所以你訓心啦，幾日都出得院架喇...開心d...

另外，片片都要快d拎喇...怕且阿B都用唔到好耐S碼...而且而家未拎你既DIAPERS...我自己都有出去買....你得閒打比我...就返你幾時方便..再上去你度拎啦...(PS:下星期我開始返工..但係2:30PM就放工喇)

拎片上黎既時候...順便煲湯比你飲丫....好唔好???

Hopefully BB will come out of the hospital (St. Teresa Hospital) on Saturday the earliest.

你點解知bb 黃呀 --- On Wednesday when we left the hospital, the doctor checked the "yellow" indication but was not too high and also the most critical day for BB is day 5-6. When we left the hospital was only day 4. So Dr. Chan suggested me to take the BB to either private doctors or government "Mother & Baby Health Center" to check.

So we went to the "Mother & Baby Health Center" yesterday and they suggested us to go back to hospital to check.

Then we went back to St. Teresa. The indication jumped from 7.9 (the day he left the hospital) to 13 yesterday. The doctor said although for breastfeeding baby 13 is still acceptable but because the number almost double, they don't dare to risk anymore.

My BB has to use double sun lamp. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Thank you all for your concern law.

Actually I know that 面黃 is not a big problem as long as it's treated. At first I was worried after the BB exist hospital hopefully on Sat, would he need to go back in a few days, etc. But my FIL already told me the suntanning lamp is once and for all. No need to repeat the process.

I also know that 面黃 is quite common for Asian babies, about 70%.

I was upset because can't see the BB for 2 days and especially after spending 1 day only at home with the BB, really misses him law. Even my honey told me last night he misses BB already since he was the one up all night on Wed night to put the BB to sleep.

I was also upset thinking it's my fault, if I could have breastfeed the BB better, he has better stool movement (means he can build up his liver and remove waste himself), he won't need to be back at the hospital. But I also blame the St. Teresa's nurses for not teaching me the proper way of breastfeeding law (the mother & BB health center said I did it all wrong).

Part 2

I'm okay now. We went to visit BB last night after dinner. My honey joke with me that BB is just like Louis Koo (the movie star who use to be very white now very tan) having a very expensive sun tanning session.

Then I said BB instead of having a swim pants line, he will have a diaper line plus a very cool sun glass line law (he has to wear a eye pad to protect his eyes).

Actually it's very cute seeing him without clothes and kicking inside the box, so now I know how he kicks inside my tummy.
