HelloPepsi,
I was sick for a whole week since I went to visit socloudy.. me, Gabriel & amanda all in bed for days..
follow by vomiting and diarrhoea.
Amanda has recovered and returns to school, Gabriel still cough a lot with all mucus inside.. (need more time for nebulizer). I am getting better as well..
wish we will meet once when you come back to US!!

for 1 year old birthday, the best way for my experience is.. held it at home..
because your lil one still needs 1-2 day naps, to held the party at home, will be much more flexible.
Amanda first birthday is a back yard BBQ party, I baked a winnie the pooh head birthday cake for her.. (it tooks me 5 hours from beginning till I finish the icing on it)..
Gabriel first birthday party.. we just have it indoor (right after X'mas) with all close friends and relatives..

I would suggest you to do it at home if possible, because when it is Pariis's 1 yr old party.. your belly will be much bigger.. it will be easier for you to manage the party.

Jstn,
I would suggest Terence to have his bottle for formula until 1 year old. we don't want to give him a wrong concept.
for sippy cup, you can introduce it at about 7-8 months old time.. when he has good self support, you can give him those with the straw inside.. then he doesn't need to hold the cup up side down.
it will be good to pour just water, or diluted Juice into the sippy cup.
it is the pathway for infant to learn (slip in ).. one of the skill to learn to eat.

I had Chloe's 1st bday party at a restaurant since my apt was too small to hold parties. I only invited family. I ordered the cake from the restaurant too so really nothing to do on my side except to bring in some balloons. Take lots of pictures. And capture in video the turn-off-the-light/blow candle/bday song moment. It was very sweet.

For air ticket I think most agencies have similar price. Last time I went HK I used my credit card points and it saved me money. You can also check the airline website to see if they have promotion. Remember to register for the frequent flyer program. I forgot to do that during my last trip and lost all points. Also you may consider buying cancelation insurance. I lost $500+ last year due to canceled trip.

開始recover喇... 我以為係流感... 但Dr. He話唔係因為我冇傷風.. 我係 nasal drop 到咳, asthma 又起.. 加上徧頭痛..
所以有blurred vision, 頭暈同嘔, 至於diarrhoea嗰2日.. Dr. He都話唔知點解??

we are still in HK....I dont dare to bring nat nat to go out, but we went out yesterday(only me and hubby), we could still see many ppl bring little babies go out..dont know what they are thinking....

I think you are right to leave Nat Nat at home, it's too risky to take her out at this time...
