I am not an expert on mattress but I can try to answer your question. my bed base is a solid one. But kiyomi's is those like a fish bone, but still I will buy her the memory foam. But we will change her bed later anyway.
My mattress has very good support for the whole body though in the beginning I felt a bit soft when compared to my old mattress.
Are you going to change your mattress? Any problem with your existing mattress?

I agree that they have to learn to sort things out and speak themselves out as mum will not always be there to help them!
There was once Kiyomi's best friend was a boy at school (as she liked to play with boys!) Then somehow they had an argument, they boy punched her in her chest twice (she told me) and saying he would not allow her to join in the game because she is Chinese.
She said she just walked away. I asked her did she tell the teacher? She said No. But I think she should have told the teacher because 1.having comment on other people's race is rude and racist. 2. he did punch her, that is something should not be allowed!

I told her if that happened ever again, she has to tell the teacher but she just said ok to me.

Now I am not allowing her to play with this boy, though I can't control if she is at school. But I will know it if she does cos she will just tell me afterwards!!!! (As she really can't tell lies!)

And I even joked to her, if next time people try to bully you, tell them you know karate and will show them their kicks if they don't stop!

The proper karate class is from 5 years old though they have a baby karate class for children from 3 years old but I think they are just playing and doing some kind of exercise there.

My son is also a shy type but if he is with his sister, he is much active. For my daughter, she is never shy to strangers!

Now I can't even fight with my daughter (when she was practising her kicks and punch for her grading), I almost got hit injured by her! So I said to her no more practising with me, told her just use a cushion instead!

No ar, when he wanted to take toys home, he didn't mean he wanted to own that toy. It was just because he built that model and he didn't want to break it up. If breaking it up and left it in the museum, he would feel sad.

He is a very sensitive kid and will get hurt very easily ga. My daughter is not as sensitive as him, so they are different.

oh she was learning ballet since the age of 3 but then she said last year she wasn't interested in ballet anymore, so she switched to tap dancing.
She is ok to learn karate as she is not a 'girlie' type though it was our idea to let her learn in the first place.

Yes I do think it is a very useful skill even for girls. There are quite a lot of girls learning karate, too even though we always thought it is usually for boys! My husband suggested me to learn, too but I am too worried my bones will crack!

Aiya after I did the test, he is type A which is angel's. Though I thought he is very sensitive.
For touchy type, I think it was those who cried easily but it isn't my son.

I've got no "C" at all from the Toddler test, it means Howie is not touchy at all.... haha... really different from yours.

have you done both tests?

sometimes it can be mixed.

my son is almost 99% a textbook baby.
you can read him like a textbook.
