Hi! I've never seen you girls looking so lost before. May be I can share with some of my thoughts here:-
1) My own opinion, if I had interviewed both KV and SC and both accepted me, I will surely prefer KV more. WHY? I was talking to some of my friends the other night and found out that SC is a lot behind when compare to KV and SJC. At K2, SC kids are only writing/counting (sorry, can't remember which) 1-10 and the most difficult words in Chinese were 牛＆羊，but for us at SJC, Natalie is already writing /counting 1-100 and 狗，吃，雨，肉＆星.
2) 2 years ago, I also thought of happy school life for the first 3 years were good for Natalie, so I started only applying 啟思, but when I heard my friend told me cases like for kids entering traditional favous primary school like 油天, their kids will take as long as 3 - 1/2 year to get used to having homework every night, dictation twice a week (Chinese & English), or getting into 浸信會，the kids can't copy fast enough the words on the blackboard and got rubbed off, those poor kids were just in tears almost everyday. Because they were never under any pressure. So for my point of view, you can have happy life if you are prepared to pay money for private schools even for P1 - F6.
3) My friend's daughter is now at K2 at CCKG, last year her girl was from SC. She also told me that SC was very easy. Also, she told me that this year, CCKG only had a few candidates can get the chance for 2nd interview at both DGS or DBS. Very disappointing score.
Shanshan, you are not talking to much, in fact your info is very useful. That's what all my friends told me, unless we are prepared to send our kids to international schools, otherwise in order to cope with the traditional teaching method in primary school we have no choice but to stick to the traditional approach. In fact, Rochelle's character fits Kentville most, I am just afraid she will be tooooooomore shy after entering into Kentville. waiting for more sharings from you!
btw, as I wrote b4, my friend who is an ex-SC also claimed the environment too crowded...........
candybb, but you will pay for the extra-cir. activities anyway, right?! then the only different is still the $1000 per month .............. in such case I would suggest to concern the environment and teaching methods more than $..............
